Wow, everyone is so interesting!
Afraid I’m not too exciting!
Age:31
Born: Tom’s River, NJ while Dad stationed there in Navy. Grew up in Western PA
Nationality: German on Dad’s side, Irish and Dutch on Mom’s side
Religion: Born Catholic, fell away, came back with extra zeal thanks to my husband.
Married with 4 children and now reside in Lordstown, OH
 
It is really neat the diverse people on this forum. And it is extra special that we are all here for the same reason.

Nationality/Ethnicity? I am adopted so not really sure. Supposedly Irish. But to look at me… I think someone was fibbing!
Religion Catholic from conception (hence why I was put up for adoption 🙂 I was adopted through Catholic Charities by a Catholic couple who sent me to Catholic school 1-12. However, I didn’t know half of what I should! In the last years my husband converted, my daughter started going to Catholic school and my faith life has exploded.
To our friend who is just hanging on, you are in the right place. It says much about you that you are looking for answers and your faith will mulitply! May God bless you and send His Spirit to set your life on fire!!!

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in the suburbs; now live in Newport, Kentucky (still basically the Cincinnati suburbs)

Of mostly German descent (about 1/8 Irish, though 👍 )

Where am I from: Oregon, although we lived in Washington State for almost 10 years Now living back in Springfield Oregon.

Nationality: German,Irish,Scottish with a wee bit o mutt

Religion: Cradle Catholic-baptised, knew I was Catholic as a child but didn’t really understand what that was. In adulthood, searched for God, ended up many protestant traditions, was very anti catholic but with the many prayers of my dear Catholic grandmother, my husband and our children entered THE Church at Easter! 👍

I’m 60.
I’m in Seattle.
I’m Irish, English, and other European countries.
Baptised Catholic, but nobody bothered to mention it to me growing up. Raised Episcopalian, then agnostic for years, then had a mystical experience and became Christian: Foursquare Church, then Independent, then Catholic at 50. It was a wonderful shock when I learned I’d been baptised Catholic all those years ago!
 
Here goes…
I am a 39 (not 40) year old father of 2. I am a cradle Catholic but was very lukewarm till I was about 35. My ethnic background is French Canadian but do have a variety of other stuff back there including Scottish, German, Native. I am from a family of 10 and have fortysomething nephews and nieces and more cousins than I can count.
I live in the southernmost part of Canada just accross the border from Detroit. :tiphat: Pleased to meet you eh.
