Where do you go to Mass?

I’m a lector at my parish, pretty sad when I didn’t know about all these forms.
Thanks for those that responded to my question.
 
I currently go, because of gas and toll issues, to a OF Diocese Mass at a church 5 minutes driving from where I live. I, however, belong to a FSSP parish, 1.5 hours away, so, I posted that as my option.

May I ask what the website you have in your signature is about? I’ve checked it out…but still have questions.

Certainly you may ask. It’s the cited source for the quote in my signature. I wanted to give credit where credit was due.
 
I chose EF Diocesan Mass, but I’ve certainly been bouncing back and forth with the OF Diocesan Mass as well.

For me, I feel so confused regarding which Mass I should attend. I want to be loyal to the Church, but every time I go to the OF Mass, I find something that angers me. I don’t go looking for these things either; each time I go to the OF Mass, I tell myself that I’m going to be prayerful and pray extra hard should I see something I don’t agree with.

This has been especially difficult, however, because I recently made a goal to attend Mass at every parish in the diocese (check out the website in my sig). For the past month and a half, I’ve attended Mass at a different parish each Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation. I thought this journey would help me appreciate the OF Mass more, but it has had the reverse effect and now I’m thinking about abandoning it.

I’ve seen some terrible things during this short journey so far. At one recent parish, the celebrant treated the Consecration as if it were a magic show. He was smiling and winking at the people in the front. He got so caught up in the act that he messed up the Consecration of the Wine and had to start over. When he was cleaning the items after Holy Communion was distributed, he again started his magic show, treating the items as if he were going to pull a rabbit out of them, and was again seen smiling at the people in the front row.

Unfortunately, I think the only way I can stay faithful to the Church but avoid the OF Mass is to attend Diocesan TLM’s. My home parish used to offer a very reverent OF Mass, but it has since lost some of that reverence, in my opinion.

p.s. If you visit my website and wonder why I did not include these abuses in my blog posts, it’s because I want to remain neutral and I don’t believe blasting a particular parish would do anyone a bit of good. I want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and assume they are just having a bad day.
 
not conformed the name actually it is five million tons per second. It is called mass defect, the portion of hydrogen that vanishes in the fusion of helium becomes energy.
 
In 2009 I attended several SSPX Masses, Several EF Diocesan Masses, about 12 FSSP Masses, (which are my favorite), several Dominican Masses and far too many OF Masses.
 
I said Diocesan OF Mass. It would have to drive at least 18 hours to find another option.
 
I voted for Diocesan OF parish. It’s a very reverent and faithful parish and priest and I’m really happy with it.

I do however try to attend a nearby EF about once a month in addition to my parish Mass. The EF is an FSSP community, that’s also a diocesan chaplaincy, and the bishop fully supports it. The priest there is also a Capuchin… not sure how all that works out. But it’s also beautiful.
