**Yes - you’re an anti-Catholic.
I just don’t care for people (and neither does God
) misrepresenting the Church they claim to belong to – but espousing and agreeing with heretical views about her.

Do a search of your posts and tell me if you can find 2 or 3 that agree with the Catholic position (vs. the Protestant) on ANYTHING.
Well I am not anti anything and not Catholic or for that matter any Church that God is in. Thank you for not caring for me. Very Christlike. I care for you cause you are a child of God,so you say, and I believe you are. And your fruits of the Spirit are very evident.

I never said I didn’t care for YOU.
Don’t add lies to your contempt for the Catholic church.
I said that I don’t care for people misrepresenting the Church they claim they belong to.

Well thank you and I do believe that you were implying me, cause you know I do not agree. But you know it doesn’t matter what you think as long as you love Jesus as I do. I respect your bekief. And I do respect others also.

Sorry sciack, the CC has never been an organization. The CC has always been and will always be the living Christ. We are not led by an organization, Jesus never said that. Jesus said upon this rock I will build my Church. Jesus said you are Peter and to you I leave the keys to the kingdom. Jesus said I am sending you the Advocate the HS to lead you to the fullness of the Truth. He never ever said a thing about leaving us an organization. The Holy SPirit is not an organization it is the Living Christ.

The Holy Spirit is not slowly evolving back to the fold of the CC. That would be making Jesus A liar. Jesus said I will be with you always until the end of time. Jesus said I will never leave you orphans. If Jesus did as you said, he would have not kept that promise. But as we both know we have a Father, GOd the Father that does indeed keep his promises. I do not know where you have got your information, but it was NOT from the word of OUR DEAR GOD ALMIGHTY!!
Are you saying that Jesus’ Church and the Catholic Church that has brought horrific evils down on man is one and the same?

That Jesus’ intent was to build a church that would: require paying for indulgences with money?, Popes and Priests holding concubines?, the church seeking to have power over political states?, amassing a wealth beyond all reason?

There is no better example of the Roman empire then the Catholic Church with the Pope in his robes and crowns- the Roman Emperor. Pope, Cardinals, Bishops, Archbishops, Priests the Catholic church is a huge political operation.

You Jesus built the church who’s leadrr said in December 20, 1926, “Mussolini is the man sent by Providence.”

I never said anything about the Holy Spirit evolving back to the fold of what Jesus intended for His church to be. I said the Catholic Church is evolving back into the church that Jesus originally founded and intended.

Taken to its logical conclusion this would mean that there would be a unity of belief in the local churches, as you say, to this day. Sadly, this is not true.
There is unity in the basic tenents of Chritianity among trinitarian Christians.

No, there isn’t.
Some believe in Baptismal regeneration - others don’t.
Some in faith alone - others don’t.
Some believe in the Real Presence - others don’t.
Some believe in eternal security - others don’t.

These are some of the basic tenets of the faith and the list goes on.

Yep. that is what the man is trying to imply. so much nonsense. i wonder how many followers he is getting by his accusations against the CC.

we know one thing for sure while others gain members by defaming the CC, our Lord is bringing people into His Church by His Grace. Glory be to God always and always.
Well Love we can’t say we were not warned. By Jesus himself. He warned us the CC would be number one on the list that the devil would try to take down. But like you said God is the CC and the devil will NEVER bring him down.

I guess if they are true followers of Christ they will stick with the Church. But we can only pray that People can be brought to the Light by our Lord. Prayers and faith can move mountains. 👍

So, you have judged and condemned the CC, what is knew? everyone else that is not a Catholic does with few exceptions.

Jesus built a Church to govern and lead the people. that is what she does.
His Church is to be a light to the world and so she is.
the Church is supposed to rule over all the kingdoms of the world and she does. before the rebellious one rebelled against the Church, rulers of this world has come against the Church in every way they can. before, it wasnt like that, the kings brought their best to the Church as a present to God. today because of protestants, people have become disobedient to God and disrecpectfull to His Church. they have all rebelled against His Church therefore against God. i just sit and meditate in the beauty of God in His Church. just to know that all the violence commited against His Church has not prevailed. many have come and gone but the CC is still here and she will be here untill the end. a little while and you are no longer here, but the Church will go on.

What I am trying to do is separate the political power hungry organization of the Catholic Church [the power hungry Popes, bishops whoever], from the core group of people that were GOD fearing Christians, good people that were in fact Jesus’ Church, the laity, Priests, Bishops, Popes, etc.

The “organization” that was the Catholic Church during the dark years of it’s history is to blame and is not the Church Jesus built, that core group of good GOD fearing people.

elvisman -
We believe in one all-powerful God.
God made all things whether we see them or not.
We believe in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God.
For our sake Jesus became a man to save us.
Jesus suffered, died, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
Jesus ascended into Heaven.
Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit.

Basically what is in the Nicene Creed.

No, you’re missing some of it – some very important things.
The Filioque Clause is rejected by some.
One holy, catholic and apostolic church is denied by others.
One baptism for the forgiveness of sins (Baptismal regeneration) is rejected by many denominations.

In short - all who claim to be Christian do not agree on the basic tenets of Christianity.

Nicene Creed, where did you get the Nicece Creed from?

WRONG.
READ the Scriptures I provided. Some of the branches of the Vine will be CUT OFF and BURNED. if they do not remain in him.
To be cut off from the Vine (Jesus) and to be warned that you must remain in him - you must be PART of the Vine in the first place.

NOPE - neither do you.
We cannot judge a person’s soul - but this doesn’t lend any creedence to your “invisible church” theory.
The Church is a visible entity - Jesus said it MUST be visible, as I already proved with the verses I provided in my last post.
Sure looks like your immovable. I hope you’ll not be disappointed when you find out how much of what you believe is not exactly accurate.

All Scripture IS for all believers - AND non-believers.
BUT - the Church is only made up of Catholics.

Lots of your catholic friend will disagree with both parts of this post, if they were honest with us in their previous posts.

Another anti-protestant post.

Hi Tweety…
I go to Church every week When I go I take Jesus with me and it doesn’t matter the name.
Certainly it would be quite harmless to give the name of your church? I was just curious…If you don’t want to provide me with the name, that’s cool…👍

Whether or not somebody disagrees with it is irrelevant. The truth is the TRUTH.
Anti-Protestant?** Not at all - just the truth.**

You’re right. I can’t see myself moving away from the truth.
Just which part of this post do you find inaccurate?

Careful, I believe you’re looking in a mirror. Don’t like what you see, I’ll bet.
**That’s the *best *you can do? Come back when you have something of substance to contribute, instead of sophomoric ad hominems . . . **

Because it opens up a can of worms for some here and I get bashed big time.

I am a non-catholic. I believe the answer to your question is “all of the above”. The church Jesus founded is all of the above. We have taken what Jesus gave us and over time, as we have always done, morphed it into what we now have. Even if I did believe that the Catholic church was the same but one and only church that Jesus gave us, I would still say that we have distorted it so much that it is no longer anything resembling what he left! But this can be said of all our churches. We all came from the same place, God - but we have wandered so far away that we are something totally different than what we were supposed to be. I think whether you are Protestant or Catholic or otherwise, your religion if it is what we call Christian, came from the church Jesus left behind. We have merely taken our faith in another direction because somewhere along the course of history you followed the person in front of you who followed the one in front of him and so on. Whether compelled by government, poverty, or other reasons - we all fell away. But it is the desire of God that we return to him. And that is what really matters. Whether or not your “HEART” truly belongs to him or to yourself or to a “church” or to someone else is what he looks at. We are sinners, but if our heart is “after” him as David’s was, we will be ok in the end.
