Right? I don’t care about universities since I’m graduating

I have relatives there…thankfully I don’t see them often. My town is like Mos Eisley. A hive of scum and villainy… similar population size too…

Maybe you’re asking the wrong question. I mean, “best place” is a highly subjective thing.

Why don’t you make a list of things you would like in a town or city. Start from there.

A good place for me to practice law. A good catholic diocese where I can meet devout people my age. Not too cold. A nice music scene since I play music too. And good food. And preferably a monastery near by.

Did I mention good food? lol

I was going to say you might consider Denver…

But as far as “cold” goes, there are places much much colder in the winter time. 🙂

I live an hour from the mile high city, which suits me just fine because I’m not very urban.

Denver has an average high temperature of 45 degrees in January, which is not so bad, really.

If you’ve ever wanted to do mission work consider that going to a place without a strong Catholic community which would be your mission field. It would definitely be a sacrifice as many young people are frustrated at the lack of Catholic community where they live. You could double your mission work if you get a job in which you are paid well and can support a charity locally or where the greatest need is. The latter would mean travel and you would meet some interesting people. Just another option to think about.

The American South has a much higher percentage of church attendance than other parts of the country- and its Catholic population is younger than those of us in the Rust Belt.

A lot of good bbq and other cuisine.

Not considering mission work now. But it could definitely be an option in the future.

How about Charleston, SC? My brother moved to the area a number of years ago and like it. Close to a monastery in Moncks Corner, good food, very polite southern living.

Virginia Beach

the largest city in the state of Virginia (believe or not)

lots of jobs ( many of them federal govt w/guaranteed pension & benefits)
pres trump wants to increase the size of the Navy; so that will only help the local economy

no brainer, imho

or no ??
