The funding, according to Kurtz and records CNN reviewed, came directly from the Annenberg foundation which Obama chaired. The project shut down in 2003 after achieving “little impact on school improvement and student outcomes,” its final report stated.

While working on the Annenberg project, Obama and Ayers also served together on a second charitable foundation, the Woods Fund. It was that foundation that Obama referenced in the debate – not the Annenberg Challenge.

Among Wood Foundation recipients were the Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church, where Obama attended and was married; and the Children and Family Justice Center, where Ayers’ wife Dohrn was director."

We need to be careful as Christians, that we’re not promoting lies pushed by people from blog sites who have an agenda that is not Christian.

We become culpable in their deeds should they be evil.

Joseph, thank you for getting the the heart of the issue. I think that the birthers are semi-misguided in their efforts, not to prove where the President was born, but rather where his loyalties lie. A very relevant case can be made that Obama’s loyalties do NOT lie with America as a country and its people, but rather with an ideology centered on globalized power and control. and the desire to subjegate America to that central power. Now, I think he does this because he sincerely believes that America is just another country along with several hundred other countries and they should all act and behave the same way. We are no better than anyone else and have no reason to be treated with any favor over anyone else. This flies in the face with the personal opinion that most “birthers” have in that America is an exceptional place because of what we are, because of our government system of restricted government that allows for maximum personal liberty and the right to pursue ones dreams and goals.

I, personally, don’t believe there will be found anything particularly nefarious.

Instead, I think it’s as simple as like this:

I honestly and truly believe this solves the entire mystery.

It is seriously this straightforward.

• Obama was indeed born in Hawaii in 1961

• Obama was indeed adopted by Lolo Soetoro in the 1970s

• Obama’s name was indeed changed to Barry Soetoro in the 1970s

• Obama’s birth certificate was altered per Hawaiian law to reflect his new name in the 1970s

• Obama never changed his name back to “Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.” — most likely because he used “Barry Soetoro” on all of his student aid applications for college, and probably received foreign student grants and admissions assistance playing off his years living in Indonesia

• All the records, transcripts, documents, and paperwork Obama continues to hide from the public is all hidden because it lists his name as “Barry Soetoro” on all of it.

• Obama will not allow his birth certificate to be released because it lists the “wrong” name on it: Barry Soetoro

It is as simple as this, folks.

It’s called jamming and it’s a common political tool on the internet. A news fact can be fogged by flooding the internet with easily discredited articles and websites about the subject in an attempt to frustrate or confuse interested parties. The tactic only needs to be seeded, and there are enough mentally unstable and gullible people who will contribute to the pot by posting their own articles and interpretations. Eventually, it snowballs and the truth gets hidden in the search engine. The articles that do the most harm are the ones that contain most of the truth but contain a smidgen of false information. For example, an article may be one hundred percent right, but the guy who wrote the article has 15 other articles on his web page claiming Obama is from Jupiter.

The whole point is to frustrate or turn people off from searching for actual facts.

I’m appalled that people are even wasting time arguing about this issue. It is so embarrassing to be Catholic and find this a topic seriously being discussed on this forum. Obama’s documents have met the legal litmus test - SO GET OVER IT!

If you want to fight the culture wars, then fight them with a leader who shows some moral integrity. Donald Trump has THREE WIVES and is therefore a serial adulterer - WHICH IS A MORTAL SIN that Jesus SPECIFICALLY addresses in the Gospels as a VIOLATION of GOD’S WILL. The fact that he LOVES this issue should be a RED FLAG to anyone trying to figure out where the DEVIL is acting in politics. Republican Catholics should be seriously worried about the fact that the Republican party has yet to produce a leader with any moral integrity who is willing to run for President. Why do you think that is? I am not impressed with the current field at all.

Do a search on Google Images for: genealogy birth certificates.

You will find numerous examples. Marriage and death certificates also have a wealth of valuable genealogical information. Family tree researchers would be lost without them.
