But there are still good men, Republican and Democrat who believe in it intensely. They won’t go away
Actions speak louder than words. You can’t name one Democrat who defends it. It’s hard funding any Republicans who do either.

That doesn’t answer the question. The question is trust in what? It’s our question not his

Beautiful statement against the firing of Vindman:
Lieutenant Colonel Vindman has proven to be an American patriot: on the battlefield when he earned a Purple Heart, and in the House trial when he spoke truth to power. His brave testimony showed America that right still matters.

President Trump is impeached forever. The shameful firing of Colonel Vindman was a clear and brazen act of retaliation that showcases the President’s fear of the truth. The President’s vindictiveness is precisely what led Republican Senators to be accomplices to his cover-up. The firing of this patriotic soldier is a sad and shameless loss for America’s security.

History will remember Lieutenant Colonel Vindman as an American hero.

I hear crickets.
Why would you fire a guy for describing a perfect call. That would be adoration.

Trump was acquitted in a trial after an indictment…the LtCOL was never was Court Martialed so needed no acquittal…one was never perceived has a wrong doer, the other was acquitted (not to be confused with being found Innocent).
Trump was acquitted as to removal. He is still impeached.

Maximus1 . . .
He fired them.
He fired Sondland.

So what?

.

Regarding Vindman.

I have seen nothing but speculation that President Trump fired Vindman. (He MAY have, but so far I have not seen any evidence of that except media outlets conjecture).

The other thing is that EVEN if he DID fire him, you have to impugn motives to say it was . . .
"An act of retaliation".

Something that we have seen a lot of FAKE cases that crumbled built by the left on – impugning Trump’s motives.

(Such as Fake reasons for FISA warrants, Fake Russian Collusion narratives, Fake phone information to Ukranian leaders, and a Fake Impeachment Narrative – All built on the same Fake house of cards. Impugn Trump’s motives.)

If President Trump fired Vindman, he had other reasons too. Reasons that you won’t be privy to. Reasons that had to do with a national security sphere.

So the best your guys on the left will always be “left” with
is the same failed page
from the same failed playbook. . . .

. . . "Impugn Trump’s motives!"

(“If Trump fired Vindman personally, why, it just HAD to be an act of vindictiveness on Trump’s part. It HAD to be RETALIATION! I just know it. Jim Accosta says so, so it MUST be true! There just CAN’T be any national security violations committed by Vindman that I don’t know about!”)

Former National Security Council official Tim Morrison testified during the House Intelligence Committee’s closed-door hearings in the impeachment inquiry in October that Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman had been suspected by others of leaking information. (Joel B. Pollak)
Vindman actually confirmed this in his own testimony, and this is where the problem lies.

His superior was Tim Morrison, the Senior Director for European Affairs, and Morrison expressed deep concerns about Vindman honoring the chain of command and of being a source of leaks. This was something Vindman ended up confirming from his testimony…This admission carried significant import. The first matter was that presidential calls with world leaders are classified information and his discussing the details outside his White House scope was an ethical breach.

He also declared under oath that he didn’t know the whistleblower. I doubt that this will be followed up on, but, again based on the way the testimony went before the House impeachment committee, he may well have committed perjury.

He testified that he did not know who the whistleblower was.
I suspect that there are many people who know the whistle-blower, but do not know that that person blew the whistle.

And his twin brother was fired as well.

That’s just spite.

Trump is going to get worse. No lessons learned.
This actually goes to the leak of portions of John Bolton’s book to the NY Times right when it could be most damaging. A copy of the book had been sent to the White House for review. The reviewer was Vindman’s brother.

Ender . . .

I saw that and assumed he was purjuring himself there too.

I have not stated this on CAF as before as I don’t know that for sure and I don’t want to impugn Vindman’s motives either.

But at this point, there is obvious other issues with Vindman. Like when he was asked if he gave the information to Ciaramella. That was when Schiff jumped in to protect the “whistleblower”.

Hey wait a minute Adam! I thought you did not KNOW who the “whistleblower” was??!!

There are obviously other “issues” too with Vindman otherwise this would not be going down this way.

I suspect it involves Vindman’s brother too as he also has been removed from his national security position.
