Do you have a credible source for this?
No. My comment was not as accurate as it should have been. Vindman (the brother) was in charge of the NSC’s book review process. Bolton’s book was reviewed under that process, and Yevgeny Vindman would surely have known about it, and have had access to it.

I agreee with this.

In fact, Breitbart was the source on this in a story quoting an unnamed source close to the Trump administration. Unamed source, however, told FoxNews that LTC Yevgeny Vindman (twin brother of LTC Alexander Vindman) was NOT part of the NSC team vetting John Bolton’s manuscript.

t really doesn’t take more than the manner of escort from the building to see the vindictiveness i in this.

The source I found said Yevgeny Vindman was the head of the team responsible for the vetting, so while he may well not have been personally charged with vetting that book he clearly would have known about it and have had access to it. Your statement is very likely true, but I think mine is as well. They are not contradictory.

I imagine this is quite typical for anyone relieved of White House duties.

What source was that?
Breitbart, but before you reflexively dismiss the source you might want to see if anyone has actually denied the allegation. I haven’t specifically looked for one, but I haven’t encountered one either.
I think that you imagine incorrectly, at least for sometime merely reassigned as some contend happened to the Vindman brothers.
They were relieved of their White House positions. As of that moment they no longer have the privilege of wandering around unescorted.

I don’t like to reflexively dismiss sources, but I already noted that Breitbart’s story came from an unnamed Trump administration source, and the suggestion that Vindman was involved in the review was denied on FOX who had another unnamed inside source.
They were relieved of their White House positions. I asked because i wondered if there was some other source.
The treatment recieved in unusual to say the least:

Breitbart said Yevgeny Vindman was in charge of the office that handled the vetting of books and publications. The Fox source only said that Vindman didn’t review Bolton’s book. Those are not contradictory statements, and both are likely true.
The treatment recieved in unusual to say the least…
Again, your citation doesn’t refute my assertion. McFaul said nothing whatever about the process in place for workers in the White House who are terminated.

Breitbart said …
It also included this …
… Yevgeny Vindman could have seen former National Security Advisor John Bolton’s draft manuscript after it was submitted for prepublication review at the end of December.
Fox countered that suggestion.
McFaul said nothing whatever
Actually he did: if this were normal, it could not be called “petty”. iF this were normmal he would not say that he was “extremely angry with Trump that he denied the Vindmans an honorable dignified departure.”

C’mon, do you think he is suggesting that getting fired is normal? You really don’t believe there is any difference between turning in your badge (at the exit from the White House) and having it taken from you upon dismissal?

@JapaneseKappa. Your title is fake news based upon their opinion of what THEY say “appeared to admit”.
Donald Trump has appeared to admit . . .
The title is just plain FAKE. It is media speculation and conjecture.

It is based upon impugning his motives (which is the same failed trick your guys have been attempting over and over since before he assumed office).

Title article attempts to fool the reader into thinking Trump fired Vindman. They then proceed to give NO information on that fake story line to support it.

"Trump publicly admits" no such thing. Even IN this article with the fake headline you’ll be able to figure that out.

The Title again for readers (because I wouldn’t be surprised if they change it, it is so bad) . . .

Notice the “out” comment from Trump apparently came
"hours after Ukraine expert escorted from office". That’s when President Trump (how’s this for propaganda) “lashes out” at him.

Trump publicly admits he fired White House official as retaliation for . . .

Fake.

From even your own article! . . . .
“Actually, I don’t know him, never spoke to him, or met him (I don’t believe!) but, he was very insubordinate, reported contents of my ‘perfect’ calls incorrectly, & was given a horrendous report by his superior, the man he reported to, who publicly stated that Vindman had problems with judgement, adhering to the chain of command and leaking information. In other words, ‘OUT’.”
““Out” MUST mean Trump personally fired Vindman AND did it for RETRIBUTION because some overseas leftist news outlet says so!”

NOT from your own article . . .

In other words,
I PERSONALLY fired Vindman not because of his insubordination, or his reported problems with judgment, or because of his leaking national security information. No. I fired him because I wanted only retribution due to his testimony where even he admits I did not put forth a quid pro Joe, I mean quid pro quo.
Edit: I added in the actual screen-captured healine JK used because it was so bad, I wouldn’t be surprised if they change it, and I wanted you readers to see the original.
And a few other changes too.

This is all a big nuthin’ burger.

But, is firing Vidman and Sondland a smart political move if you are trying to expand your base?

What is at issue is the denial that this is retaliatory firing but a mere reassignment. That denial is incompatible with the shameful treatment. If you are stipulating to a retaliatory firing, OK.

It remains to be seen how military personally react to Trump’s action against the Vindman’s who did their duty, by the book versus a war criminal busted by his fellow Seals.
