White House shines rainbow colors to hail same-sex marriage ruling

I was so happy to see the White House lit up in Red, White & Blue for the 4th of July. Oh wait… That didn’t happen!!!

I don’t get it. Why would God protect one country over another? What have we done that’s so special to God that he would single us out as a new Israel? Jesus came for all, we are all protected.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil. You don’t have to be a Christian to believe this either. No one would call murdering a person good. What about stealing a car because you don’t have one and most people do, so you feel entitled to it? We know these things are wrong in our heart whether you believe in God or not. If you believe everyone defines his own truth you’d have chaos. And if you yourself chooses to define your own truth, actually you are worshipping a god, yourself.

This is just terrible. The United States has just told everyone in the world, especially the Middle East, Africa, and most of Asia that we are a hedonistic culture.

and to fly the rainbow flag along with the American flag is reprehensible. is there a flag for heterosexual marriage? it is almost like they are trying to promote homosexual marriage over marriage between a man and a woman.
 
As of today, July 7, 2015, the rainbow flags (4 or 5) still outnumber the American flag hanging at the American Consulate here in Munich.

Wie traurig! Vielleicht sollten Sie in der Theatinerkirche St. Kajetan beten. Die Kirche ist sehr schön und liegt in der Nähe des Englischen Gartens. Theatinerstrasse 22, 80333 Munich. Die Dominikaner. Oft viele Touristen leider…

So viele der Kirchen hier in München sind wunderschön. Ich genieße es immer, hier zu sein.

🙂 We’re done. Pretty boring stuff (and I needed Google on more than one occasion just to do those few sentences). The Churches in Munich are beautiful - and Catholic. That is about it.

so if it is very Catholic are they happy about SSM in the U.S. and are they celebrating the rainbow flag and bunting at the Consulate in Phoenix?

I think Germany is pretty socially liberal everywhere, including Munich. But, as I understand it, Munich and Bavaria do have a pretty decent sized conservative Catholic population. Benedict is from that area I believe. I think Bavaria votes conservative - by German standards, not US standards. 😉
