But it’s ok, the topic of the thread isn’t kundalini yoga. Except, of course, for those who are trying to derail it.But it’s okay, it’s a “Westernized” snake goddess.
Interestingly, I find that it’s a lot of the younger Catholics on CAF who are like this. Not all of course, but a lot.Sometimes I feel like some older Catholics with lack of real life experience than what they read on the internet or hear from others act like the Puritans from old Salem
Corpse pose or savasana:For example, this is a yoga pose:

I’m sure all of us on this thread have made this pose before. It cannot invite or worship anything.
YCG - firstly, there is no point in posting individual anecdotes. Individual mileage varies. I could, for example, post dozens of stories of people who legitimately find a shoe shop to be an occasion of mortal sin because they have an extreme unhealthy fetish around shoes, or spend insane amounts of money they don’t have on shoes. To do so proves nothing at all about whether shoe shops are occasions of sin for people in general - they aren’t.Full time catholic exorcist priest speaks about his experience of yoga leading to demonic oppression.
Like I said: using prayer gestures as ‘exercise gestures’ from a 5,000 year old Snake Goddess Kundalini religion isn’t going to result in spiritual benefits even if done for recreation.
