We already are spending BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars to feed, house, and clothe poor people. The poor have increased in number since the “Great Society” started in 1965. More children are born out of wedlock to single parent homes since this welfare began. More children are born into poverty since abortion became legal.

There is no excuse for anyone in this country to go without food, shelter, or clothing.

And I walk the talk.

But then you are pepper sprayed and jailed for disorderly conduct in some cases. In other cases, no one pays attention to your protest.

They have the skills and education, since many of them have graduated from college, but the government lets them go without guaranteeing a job for their skills.

Since when does the government guarentee anyone a job?

Because the democrats wrote a bill that gave them billions and Bush signed it.

Can you give me an example of what they are being jailed for? How long are they going to stay in jail?

Do you think the rioters in London last month had a right to “protest” without being jailed or pepper-sprayed?

How do define the limits of “disorderly conduct?”

Boycott NY, after all their Mayor is not enforcing the law concerning those protestors.

Three large High School Bands in my area was going to go to NY next spring until they saw that the Mayor of NY does not believe in enforcing the law, so they rescheduled to go to Disney World.

FREZZA: Well, businesses have the responsibility to build the best product at the best price for their customers. That’s what businesses are in business for. They do not own a responsibility to put people to work. For example, if you were to make that the major goal, you would outlaw word processors or bring back the typing pool. I remember typing pools with hundreds of people in them. They were mostly women back then, but that created a lot of jobs.
So there are a lot of ways to create jobs if that’s your goal. And if you follow any of those approaches, you will do more to hurt the economy than you will do to help it.

FDR tried providing government jobs for out of work people but it caused the Great Depression to last years longer than it should have.

Then take it up with your congressman/senator/president.

And this is why the Tea Party was started.

People have such short memories.
