Yeah, 'cause as of 1933, things weren’t *that *bad.FDR the man who made the depression the Great Depression.
The most recent CBO estimate on the cost of TARP to taxpayers:This is another reason to protest. How come those on wall street got a trillion dollar bailout when the debt load is unsustainable?
Things were bad, and FDR’s policies made people’s miseries last longer than they should have. Obama’s policies are similar and are having a similar effect.Yeah, 'cause as of 1933, things weren’t *that *bad.Talk about rewriting history. Next we’ll here that in fact Czechoslovakia started WW2.
That is a good question. How come the angry mob is going after Solyndra and the like with pitch forks? The most recent CBO estimate on the cost of TARP to taxpayers:

Why are they protesting one, and not the other?
I’ve heard business owners complain about the uncertainty of inflation, taxes, Obamacare, Cap’n’tax, etc.Things were bad, and FDR’s policies made people’s miseries last longer than they should have. Obama’s policies are similar and are having a similar effect.
Back then people worked to get paid. Today people get paid not to work.
I totally agree. If you live in America, your one of the luckiest people in the world. If you don’t like the country, have the courage/guts to move.99% of the people in this country aren’t exactly starving and dying in the streets.
I haven’t gotten a raise in years. I should quit and get a better job!!I’ve heard business owners complain about the uncertainty of inflation, taxes, Obamacare, Cap’n’tax, etc.
I would not agree with that.Didn’t you know that it’s a God given right to pillage and plunder and burn stuff?
Thank you. You never left my heart.Welcome back!
It’s called peaceful protest.I would not agree with that.
But why does Hillary go around telling Syria and other foreign countries to allow protests in the streets, but apparently it is not OK for Americans to protest the growing gap between rich and poor?
Consider who Hillary is.I would not agree with that.

There is no need to starve or die in the streets in the USA. You wouldn’t believe the food that is thrown out at the “homeless” where I volunteer. Technically the people there aren’t homeless, though, because that’s where they live.99% of the people in this country aren’t exactly starving and dying in the streets.
Why should any American citizen move just to appease the right-wingers? If people believe that there are things wrong with the U.S. be they liberals or conservatives, they have the right to protest and to try to change things.I totally agree. If you live in America, your one of the luckiest people in the world. If you don’t like the country, have the courage/guts to move.
Who said it was to appease right-wingers (what ever that means). It was simply a statement to try living somewhere where else if one hates living here so much. Why should any American citizen move just to appease the right-wingers? If people believe that there are things wrong with the U.S. be they liberals or conservatives, they have the right to protest and to try to change things.![]()
There are children everywhere in the U.S. who go hungry every night, kids as well as their parents who don’t get enough to eat, who don’t have adequate clothing, who suffer dreadfully in the winter time. And they are more than 1%!!99% of the people in this country aren’t exactly starving and dying in the streets.
Hey Rich. Why should any American citizen move just to appease the right-wingers? If people believe that there are things wrong with the U.S. be they liberals or conservatives, they have the right to protest and to try to change things.![]()
