I love them all.
But Fr. Benedict Groeschel pierces through my heart ❤️ every time I hear him. God bless him.

Hey, I LOVE Fr. Corapi and Fr. Benedict Groschel, but what about John Martinoni? He’s just as good, and he’s an apologist full time! Why isnt’ he included?

Hi,

Scott Hahn, this guy is amazing everytime I hear him I’m stupified, This guy is so smart I could listen to him for days. I also like John Martignoni, he’s great regular guy like me but man does he know his stuff especially the bible. Jimmy Akin too, A walking Catechism. :twocents:

i like scott hahn i always listen to him while iam playing cards. i wish i can listen to father corapi as well but i don’t know where to find him. :blessyou:

They are all wonderful!!! I voted for Father Corapi. He is the absolute best speaker!! He knows the faith and he certainly knows how to teach it. If only we had a Father Corapi in every parish!! Catholic radio is truly a blessing. I could listen for hours to Catholic Answers Live, The Doctor is In, Greg and Lisa Popcak, they are all such wonderful witnesses to the faith!!

By the way, does anyone else miss hearing Jeff Cavins on Morning Air? Teresa Tomeo is a terrific host, but I still miss Jeff!!

My favorite wasn’t on the list…Catholic Answers Live!!!

MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! :bounce:

In my growing-up years, I heard much of Fulton Sheen. Upon hearing some rebroadcasts of his talks over Catholic Radio, I was reminded after many years how remarkable a speaker he truly was!

I voted for Fr. Corapi he is my favorite, I also like Matatics as well, its too bad that he has gone over the edge. He had soooo much potential IMO. 😦

If I had to vote for one who is living, I would have chosen Father CorapiBut if I had to choose one in my entire lifetime, it has to be Bishop Sheen -
I like the fact that EWTN is rebroadcasting the “Life is Worth Living” series. If anybody wasn’t aware, they show it 2:30 AM (eastern) on Thursdays. Hmmm, that’s tonight…err tomorrow morning 😃

By the way, I couldn’t vote, as it would be a toss-up for me between Bishop Sheen and Fr. Corapi.

I’m a member of a Baptist Church. And I’m in RCIA.

To me, a lot of times Father Corapi seems like a really good old fashioned Baptist. God bless him.

If some of my Baptist brethren would watch Father Corapi with an open mind, they would probably be shocked to hear such good gospel teaching coming from somebody who is disguised as a Roman Catholic Priest.

All you Roman Catholics – are you very sure Father Corapi is Roman Catholic and not really a Baptist?

God bless Father Corapi. He tells it like it is. And he is so practical.

Amen.

I have read criticism on these boards about Johnette Benkovic, but if I had to pick one radio host who was most instrumental in my conversion, it was she. I was an “accidental convert,” by listening to Catholic radio on my commute every morning, and her show was on twice a week at that time. My schedule has changed, so don’t get to listen to her much anymore, and I miss her.

From Johnette, I learned that Catholics are true Christians who take their faith and the Bible very seriously. From her guests, I learned to understand the truth behind Church doctrines that are difficult for a convert, such as contraception and divorce. Johnette is also a person who can speak the truth lovingly to her callers, and that really impresses me.

The courage and perseverance she has shown since the tragic death of her 25 year-old son (he was killed in a car accident after serving in Iraq) is inspiring and a testimony to her faith.

My other favorites are Fr. Mitch, Fr. Groeschel, Mother Angelica, Scott Hahn, Rosalind Moss, and Marcus Grodi.

Ooops, make that 2 am.

My favorite is one you probably haven’t heard much about yet.

Father Tomas Loya

His radio show is in Chicagoland, 11:30AM Sundays on WCSN 820 AM.

If you live near Chicago, tune in after Mass.

Fr. Corapi, Fr Mitch, Fr Robert Barron (on WCSN in Chicago on Tuesdays: does homilies for the Sunday before and the Sunday coming) are all awesome and they and many of the others provide some great insight into the teachings of the church.

When it comes to “bridging the gap between faith and every day life,” no one does it better than Dr. Ray. Talk about applying the basics of the faith to how I live and act! He hits it right on the nose, taking the wiggle room out of what I believe (and what the Church teaches) and how I live it. That’s why he got my vote.
