He’s a kook who even avoids the company of other “fundamentalists”. Many will use his stuff . . . but they don’t want anything to do with him.
I’m a former anti-Catholic protestant who read Jack Chick, Dave Hunt, Jim McCarthy and others. What happened to me seems to be pretty common-place. The more anti-catholic stuff I read the more I became fascinated with Catholicism. In Jim McCarthy’s anti-Catholic book, “The Gospel According to Rome” he encourages protestant fundamentalist-evangelicals to buy and read the Cathechism in order to understand how to witness better to Catholics. Big mistake. You can’t use the deeply intellectual Catechism to refute psuedo-intellectual fundamentalist allegations. Now I’m a Catholic thanks to Jack Chick and others. :tiphat: The Lord works in mysterious ways, indeed!Jack Chick may very well be converting many people to Catholicism without realising it. (by making alternative forms of Christianity look foolish.)
