Not sure if you were addressing for my post:

*Have any of you seen the woman ridng the beast on the euros?

signsofthelastdays.com/archiv…ll-of-humanity

Check this out:

The point is the euro has as it’s symbol a woman riding a beast.

WHY would they use that symbol?!?

Don’t you find that a bit scary, very odd, interesting?

Revelation 13
16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The mark of the beast is something of worship. It is regarding worship, not a monetary system.

“Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the **house of Israel **and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” ~Jeremiah 31:31-34 NKJV (the bold is mine)

This new covenant was made with the house of Israel only, and not with the Gentiles. Only the Israelites are saved. The Gentiles are adopted into the family of Israel.
I must be missing something. How does this make you an Israelite if you were a Gentile? That’s what I thought we were speaking about.

Doesn’t the Bible say that we are born again? But… born again as what? A Jew, spiritual Jew of course, but we are Jews, because we’ve been born again as Jews. The Jews are God’s people. Before the physical Jews were, but now the spiritual Jews are, but still, only Jews are God’s people. The Gentile [sinner] dies and the Jew [righteous] is born. So all Christians are God’s people, the Jews.

Not born again as what. We were greated in God’s image (Gen 1:26). He is Triune, we therefore are triune. God told Adam that in the day he eats of the Tree of Knowledge he would surely die. His body and soul did not die. His spirit died. When we become born again our spirit lives again. This understanding is my opinion, I understand.

Roman 9-11 tell us God has not done away with the children of Israel turning Christians into them. In fact all throughout Paul’s writings he makes it clear the Israel is Israel in a physical sense.

My mistake. I should have said ‘who’ not ‘what’.

Actually, it is written in the Bible that a day to God is 1,000. No human in history lived more than 1,000 years. Therefore, Adam died the day he ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, from God’s perspective.

What are you referring to with the 1000 yrs thing?

I’m not sure Adam was dead to God as He made clothes for him out of a dead animal, perhap and most likely, an OT (prophecy) of the death of Jesus for sins. God covered Adam’s sin just as the Blood of Jesus covers ours. We don’t stop sinning (unfortunately) when we become born again (Romans 7).

About the 1,000 years = 1 day. I was referring to the following passage:

[bibledrb]2 Peter 3:8[/bibledrb]

Also, we are born again in our spirit but we still have to be born again in the flesh (meaning that we still have to get new bodies). When God’s people will get new bodies, the plan of redemption will be completed. until then, we may not be sinners in the spirit, but we are sinners in the flesh. We have been born again in the spirit at baptism, but we still have to be born again in the flesh, and that will happen at the end of the world when God’s people will receive new bodies.

I knew about the 2 Peter 3 verses. I wasn’t asking about where you found the verse but how you were using the verse in our conversation. It didn’t make sense in context. Sorry I couldn’t follow your meaning.

We will get a new body. Seems correct that redemption of our souls and body will be complete when we get to Heaven. I don’t agree water baptism has anything to do with being born again.

I’m not sure we need to be real concerned about what God will do for us and to us when we get to Heaven. What we need to be concerned with is to be obedient to God because we love Him.

Well, God said that in the day Adam will sin, he will die. What we don’t know is whether He was referring to a day from our perspective (24 h) or from His perspective (1,000 years), because for him, 1,000 years is a day. I believe it is obvious that He was talking about a day from His point of view, a day that for Him is 1,000 years, because Adam lived almost 1,000 years… almost a day, from God’s perspective. But Adam died in the same day, from God’s point of view, in which He sinned, in the same thousand of years.

Interesting, isn’t it?

Ah, yes, interesting point of view. However, after speaking of creation in terms of ‘day’ which most often means 24 hrs, the Holy Spirit used the same Hebrew word for day.

I wasn’t specifically thinking at water baptism (though if possible we should get baptized with water, because it’s a commandment), but at baptism with the Holy Spirit. That is what ‘re-creates’ you: your personality, way of life, etc. So I was referring to baptism with the Holy Spirit.

Well, the Sun was created after the vegetation was created, and vegetation without the Sun dies. If it would have been 1,000 years, then the vegetation would have died. Also, even if creation would have lasted 6,000 years, it still wouldn’t be in perfect harmony with the theory of Evolution and old earth theory.

I don’t remember Mickey Mouse on the one I saw, but if this isn’t it, the statue I saw was very much like it. Is this picture from Disneyland or Disneyworld?

Agreed. I’m a 6/7 day creationist (to label myself). So the day in reference to the day Adam died was 24 hr not 1000, IMO.

If I understand this post, I’m in agreement, for what ever it’s worth.

DoKimas, I was just thinking about the question who is the anti=christ and let me ask you,do you think it may be Benny Hinn. ,DoKimas Please tell me why you do not believe in being born again, In Baptism are we not forgive for all our sins

I don’t think Benny Hinn is the anti-christ. I don’t think we can figure it out yet. I think he is hidden from view (knowledge) right now.

I don’t think water baptism save anyone. It is the baptism of Jesus that saves and that baptism has to do with the Holy Spirit. Peter spoke of baptism saving and he qualified that by saying not the type that has to do with cleaning off dirt (by implication: water baptism).

Thank you for asking.

Dokimas, you don’t have to THINK to know who is the Anti-Christ.

Christians don’t THINK FOR God. They OBEY.

1 John 2:22 Who is the Liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Messiah. **Such a man is the Antichrist—he denies the Father (God) and the Son (Jesus). **
