There are members of the community that surrounded Jesus distinguished by their role in the public ministry of Jesus. We know these members by name and we can distinguish their personal characteristics in the events that became Sacred Scripture.Just a reminder that the original question was; Who was the first Christian? We have been getting a little off track … I think.(?) One thing to keep in mind is; what is the definition of a Christian? Many believe it is someone that followed Jesus The Christ. Even though time has no constraint on God, and Jesus was at the beginning I would like to think that only those that came after Him ( His incarnation ) and followed His teachings ( no matter how well or how poorly ) would be called Christian.

I guess the point I am making is, no matter how someone how one “becomes” a Christian, I never really considered Jesus as “part of the group.”Not understanding your question. Elaborate please.

Its kind of like, is Britney Spears a member of the Britney Spears Fan Club?
I don’t know what is more disturbing, that I have made an an analogy using Britney Spears or that there are people who worship her.
(or that I spelled her name right–I just spell checked it).
