That doesn’t make any sense. You’re not doing anyone any good by not voting at all. If somebody is going to win, you may as well vote for the one who will likely do the least evil. Not voting is unacceptable.
- Not voting in any particular race is acceptable to the Church. The Church tells us that we must participate in voting; it says nothing about the races we must or must not participate in.
- I reject the “bandwagon” approach to voting.
- There is nothing wrong in voting for parties that are unlikely to win. There’s such a thing as voting on principle.
