So God killed those kids at Sandy Hook?If it’s God who decides who lives and who dies, no guns necessary.
Does Obama know that?

Take guns out of America. Make it illegal like UK. 2nd Amendment, 1791. Old Law!! Do you really need guns? Self defence? Buy a rottweiler!!I don’t like it when criminals use guns to kill innocent people.
I don’t like it when criminals shoot cops.
I don’t like it when criminals kidnap, rape and murder innocent women and/or children.
Sometimes giving a criminal a second chance means that YOU die and he lives to kill someone else.
Our 2nd Amendment has not been and never will be about hunting. It IS about keeping tyranny at bay. We need it now more than ever.
Why do you only address halt of my post?IF I was to break into a house, I would get a gun (illegely), first, and, if faced with any type of dog, would kill the dog and then go after any people in the house,![]()

To answer your title question…I think that it is less about being in love with their guns than it is in being in love with our rights as American citizens. At least that is the case for me -You would think that Catholics would place more faith in God, and less faith in guns. What is especially puzzling is that research has shown that more innocent people are killed by private ownership of guns than perpetrators of violent crime.
Who wants to be subject to the same violence they have in the UK?Take guns out of America. Make it illegal like UK. 2nd Amendment, 1791. Old Law!! Do you really need guns? Self defence? Buy a rottweiler!!![]()
Britain’s violent crime record is worse than any other country in the European union, it has been revealed.
Official crime figures show the UK also has a worse rate for all types of violence than the U.S. and even South Africa - widely considered one of the world’s most dangerous countries.

Why are you only addressing one out of more than a dozen responses to your OP?Why do you only address halt of my post?
What about babies killed through abortion? But innocent people who die of gun violence will get to Heaven faster. Again, trust in God.
Probably, that’s why he’s working on banning God too.So God killed those kids at Sandy Hook?
Does Obama know that?
You’re avoiding my question altogether. Why are you only addressing one out of more than a dozen responses to your OP?
Why do you not address those of us who did address that first half?0Why do you only address halt of my post?
Darn, you nailed me on that one. No guns, no God - have to agree that is Obama.Probably, that’s why he’s working on banning God too.![]()
How about 1You’re avoiding my question altogether.
I cannot possibly answer every post.
No. The criminals don’t turn in their guns. That would leave law-abiding citizens defenseless against not only criminals, but the overwhelming power of a tyrannical federal government. It will NEVER happen. If it did, America would be over as we have known it.Take guns out of America. Make it illegal like UK. 2nd Amendment, 1791. Old Law!! Do you really need guns? Self defence? What is it about being killed by a gun that gets people to Heaven faster? Is there an indulgence attached to being killed with a gun?But innocent people who die of gun violence will get to Heaven faster. Again, trust in God.
That’s paranoia.No. The criminals don’t turn in their guns. That would leave law-abiding citizens defenseless against not only criminals, but the overwhelming power of a tyrannical federal government. It will NEVER happen. If it did, America would be over as we have known it.
And this is in Italy, which has some of the most stringent personal anti possession gun laws in Europe! So why does the pope ride in a bullet proof glass vehicle while surrounded by armed guards? You need to tell him he’s doing it wrong.![]()
What makes you think that lack Faith can be linked to gun ownership? Does everyone who owns a gun own it because they want to defend themselves? I personally don’t, rather I own one because I like to shoot it, and I like to hunt…and sure, if I happened to be able to load it in time to prevent a robbery, sure I’d use it in defense. But I would have to ultimately trust in God that I’d have my wits about me to be able to do that. (Loading and chambering a bullet/shell is not as fast a process as you might think when you are in a situation.)You would think that Catholics would place more faith in God, and less faith in guns. What is especially puzzling is that research has shown that more innocent people are killed by private ownership of guns than perpetrators of violent crime.
I recently watched a show about gun violence decreasing in Europe as a result of gun control. This trend was matched with an equally INCREASING rate of violence using other weapons, such as knives, bats, etc… Criminals aren’t detered by laws…hence the fact that we have crime. If you make one of theri weapons of choice become hard to find, they just switch to another weapon of choice. Cain didn’t need a gun to kill Abel did he?I agree. Germany has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world and as a result, the number of deaths by guns in Germany is enormously lower than in the USA.
Whats wrong with that?If it did, America would be over as we have known it.
Which explains why gun control laws work so well in Mexico. That’s paranoia.
