Why are you against equal marriage? I was asked this question and wanted to see what you guys would have answered.

Answer them with laughter, because the statement “marriage equality” is void of any logic.

I would have just asked if they were also in favour of polygamous marriage and incestuous marriage? because if they aren’t then they are hardly for marriage “equality” in the way they are using that term.

Just ask, how is it that when we say that marriage is between a man and a woman, we are accused of discrimination and yet when you say marriage is between two people, you’re not?

Because the way they use the terms “marriage equality” and “discrimination” when they advocate same sex marriage is completely hypocritical and contradictory, they either legalise every union that some nut wishes to call a marriage or else they themselves are also discriminating and against marriage equality.

Not sure if you mean that anthropogenic global warming will greatly harm people and grossly reduce the human population, but if you do, then you are so very right. And the funny/sad thing is, people can actually save money or not lose money by mitigating it.

No, what I meant was that the theory of AGW is causing environmentalists to go into a tizzy about having to reduce the “footprint” of our population, and the usual way is by abortion and reduced fertility in some kind of misguided attempt to “save the planet” from mankind. It is very wrongheaded to believe that God’s command to “be fruitful and multiply” was only good until we get it into our minds that we are somehow harming His creation by using it.

A marriage between two men or two women is not equal to a marriage between a man and woman. Marriage was instituted as being between a man and woman and that traces all the way back to Adam and Eve [peace be upon them].

The pro-homosexual activists are trying to change the definition of what marriage is. In our world today, it seems you’re not allowed to say that something is morally wrong, lest you hurt someone’s feelings. Emotion does not dictate truth, though.
