Why can't i move things with my Mind?

You can move things with your mind. Your conscious directs an electrical impulse down your spine, into the muscle cells, and spends ATP to throw the person.

A better question might be: Why WOULD you be able to do that?

Because things are not part of your body.
 
To move an object extraneous to your body requires energy and, if we normally emitted large amounts of energy through our skin, we’d have difficulty keeping alive.

You could if knew how to ‘access’ that part of your brain. Our minds are capable of much more than we currently use them for, but we are probably limited due to our nature.

Just imagine the chaos if everyone could in fact move material objects with their minds, we are just not ready for that right now, it would be like handing a toddler the keys to a car.
 
It isn’t God’s plan; it’s too grandiose and prideful. You would become attached to your own powers and not to God.

I conceptualize this differently.

How about that the two, among many entangled, become components in a greater whole? The cup of coffee in a room is a cup of coffee in a room and cools down because its reality is of a cup of coffee in a room, in a house on a street in a city. If some of its individual components become disentangled, they may appear anywhere within the totality that is its reality, based on probability. It’s also why the slit experiment is a slit experiment, composed of equipment, designed, manufactured and used by human beings, who take a measurement, why that particular action determines what happened before; it’s because the event is one in time and space. It’s not caused by our consciousness, but from what we do and what happens as God knows it. How about if things are determined from the top down, what they are in themselves rather than from the bottom up, by their components?

By the way, we exist as one being, as persons, a spirit-body who moves, perceives, feels and thinks. The “mind” doesn’t move anything; its a way of explaining what we do, as is anatomy and physiology.

Do you think something like that would happen?

The thing is, it would also be an opportunity for good. People would use their powers to protect what is good. They would use their powers to worship God.
