I just recall this video and now I am in doubt.Because things are not part of your body.

It isn’t a question of putting God to a test but of exposing the limits of materialism.I still stand by my points that these things do not submit to laboratory investigation. God says we still have to have faith and to me this means that we cannot ever put God to the test in an instrumental way.
Thereby rejecting free will?It is far from clear how to measure energy consumed, energy efficiency, and the like that is consumed while making choices. It is conceivable that even whether or not a single neuron fires will change the entire bioelectrochemical pattern of a person’s brain waves after only a few seconds, and there might even be tiny quantum influences that could change the way that neuron fires.
A fact that atheists cannot explain! There is also a lot of talking and bodily work involved in building nukes. Nuclear weapons are indeed powerful, but they are hardly divine.Evil preceded nukes by a long way. Nukes are new, evil is ancient.
Subjective experience is the foundation of all our knowledge! We infer the existence of things and other minds from our perceptions. Our primary datum and sole certainty is our mental activity…I agree that materialism is cold, but I don’t think that that coldness is a sufficient logical, objective reason to reject materialism. I reject materialistic coldness for the subjective emotional reason that I would prefer to live my life periodically praying to God and experiencing the little bits of warmth and love of God that I can get out of that. I’ve had so much materialism in my life that I am no longer interested in it. I’m done with materialism as any sort of reason for living; I’m just done with it, and I don’t care whether or not I’m being objective, I just don’t.
You grossly underestimate the power of the mind… without which we wouldn’t know anything…I just recall this video and now I am in doubt.
But without an at least semi-functional head, necked to a working body, there can be no mind! You grossly underestimate the power of the mind… without which we wouldn’t know anything…
Jesus Christ could have done just that but he elected not to. If HE decided not to use all the powers of heaven to defend Himself, perhaps we should look at that as a guide for how we live our own life?If somebody wants to fight me, i want to be able to move their body to another country so that they will be arrested by the immigration police.
Why can’t i do that?
A body cannot think! The brain doesn’t even know it exists and the mind still exists even if the brain is destroyed. It is the mind that is conscious and gives us the power of self-control whereas the body is no more than a biological machine. But without an at least semi-functional head, necked to a working body, there can be no mind!
We are not angels in earthsuits, we are breathing psyches and thinking bodies.
