Slightly better than they were before 2016, but not nearly as well as whites, who reaped most of the benefits of the economic expansion. You see, when you examine racial disparities, you don’t compare blacks in 2020 with blacks in 2016. You should compare black gains over that period compared to white gains over that same period. That’s what “racial disparity” means.
You have made my point.
And you have totally missed mine, which is that racial disparities are higher under Trump than they were when Trump took office:

White Median Income:
2016: 68,059
2018: 70,642 (a 3.8% increase)

Black Median Income:
2016: 41,323
2018: 41,361 (a 0.09% increase)

One has to seize opportunities. It is the job of the government to create the opportunistic environment. It is the job of the individual to go out and make it happen.

Fatherless families impede the development of the children. This will take some time to fix.

When I look at that table I see a wide range of income levels among Americans.

ETA:
Or are we saying that Irish Americans, Italian Americans, Polish Americans, German Americans etc. are incapable of earning more money because of their ethnicity?

And Jewish Americans are left off the list.

But Biden has unequivocally stated he will go after the Little Sisters of the Poor ordering them to provide birth control/ abortifacients and abortions… which will kill babies… He has said this specifically.

Kamala Harris nixed a sale that ended up closing 6 Catholic hospitals specifically she imposed mandates on that that impacted that and hundreds of people lost their jobs and thousands of people lost access to their healthcare. Because abortions and unions are priority with her

And don’t kid yourself about Kamala Harris’s anti-catholic bigotry she is definitely an anti-catholic bigot just like Feinstein…

…to provide birth control to those who want it. He is not forcing anyone to take it, and so he is not killing babies. At worst he is standing by while others kill babies, in which case the main guilt lies with those who choose to do that. I think Biden’s biggest sin, in the eyes of the right, is his support for unions, environmental regulations, state support for health care, higher taxes on the wealthy, racial justice reform, immigration and science-based policies. But rather than make the case against all those things, they use the abortion issue as a cover. I don’t know for sure, but it seems that everyone they go after for abortion is also for all those other things, and if they are not for those other things, their criticism of that person for abortion is somewhat muted.

OK, let’s go further. What and how is Trump alone going to (allegedly) “reform” the laws? Laws originate in the House of Representatives - controlled by Democrats (You may know that; you may not). What “reforms” would you like to see?
You might take just a moment to do a bit of research. Early in his term, Trump met with Pelosi and Schumer I believe and was working on immigration reform. They talked like they had a workable deal.

Step in Steven Miller, and suddenly the deal was off and the separation policy started.

So no Trump couldn’t do it alone, they were working together, but Steven Miller alone killed the deal and Trump listened to him instead of working with congress.

. . . .

And just an fyi for some who think that folks who come here “illegally” are all criminals.

They can show up at the border, or be here already and seek asylum. It is not a criminal act until they have been ordered to leave and not done so. Until then it is basically a civil matter.

Might do a bit a research into the actual laws of our country.

On December 21, 2018, President Trump signed into law the First Step Act (FSA) of 2018 (P.L. 115- 391). The act was the culmination of a bi-partisan effort to improve criminal justice outcomes, as well as to reduce the size of the federal prison population while also creating mechanisms to maintain public safety.

Incentives for Success

The Act amended 18 U.S.C. § 3624(b) so that federal inmates can earn up to 54 days of good time credit for every year of their imposed sentence rather than for every year of their sentenced served. For example, this change means that an offender sentenced to 10 years in prison and who earns the maximum good time credits each year will earn 540 days of credit.

Eligible inmates can earn time credits towards pre-release custody. Offenses that make inmates ineligible to earn time credits are generally categorized as violent, or involve terrorism, espionage, human trafficking, sex and sexual exploitation; additionally excluded offenses are a repeat felon in possession of firearm, or high-level drug offenses. For more details, refer to the complete list of disqualifying offenses. These ineligible inmates can earn other benefits, as prescribed by BOP, for successfully completing recidivism reduction programming.

Sentencing Reforms

Changes to Mandatory Minimums for Certain Drug Offenders
The FSA makes changes to the penalties for some federal offenses. The FSA modifies mandatory minimum sentences for some drug traffickers with prior drug convictions by increasing the threshold for prior convictions that count toward triggering higher mandatory minimums for repeat offenders, reducing the 20-year mandatory minimum (applicable where the offender has one prior qualifying conviction) to a 15-year mandatory minimum, and reducing a life-in-prison mandatory minimum (applicable where the offender has two or more prior qualifying convictions) to a 25-year mandatory minimum.

Retroactivity of the Fair Sentencing Act
The FSA made the provisions of the Fair Sentencing Act of 2010 (P.L. 111-220) retroactive so that currently incarcerated offenders who received longer sentences for possession of crack cocaine than they would have received if sentenced for possession of the same amount of powder cocaine before the enactment of the Fair Sentencing Act can submit a petition in federal court to have their sentences reduced.

Expanding the Safety Valve
The FSA also expands the safety valve provision, which allows courts to sentence low-level, nonviolent drug offenders with minor criminal histories to less than the required mandatory minimum for an offense.

For sentencing reform examples please refer to the guide published by the U.S. Sentencing Commission’s Office of Education and Sentencing Practice .

But Joe Biden and Kamala Harris both want open borders to illegals AND free healthcare for illegals. Clearly, American taxpayers cannot afford to pay for the entire world’s healthcare.

Just because you spout something doesn’t make it true. Not certain where you get your information from, but sounds like talking points from folks who have become accustom to telling “alternative truths”.

This gets a “prove it”.
