in that case i think u need to re-examine your interpretation, i can not see it that wayActually I think they were trying to make you feel included in the fun instead of trying to shame you or judge you.

No, I don’t think I need to re-examine my interpretation at all. I’m understanding the discussion just fine.in that case i think u need to re-examine your interpretation, i can not see it that way
They certainly did have fermentation back then. That is not even a question.I know some of you have read some of my other threads about me being married to an abusive alcoholic ex of a husband. I don’t condone drinking if it is done in moderation cuz Jesus has set an example for us saying that it is ok. After all, drunkedness is very much a sin. There is a difference between moderating and getting so drunk.
TheRealJulianne>>Even tho I was married to an alcoholic. My mum was one herself and died from cirohisis of the liver, I can happily say I am one of the happiest people around. Having God in my life prevented me from becoming miserable and unhappy. I make the choice not to drink and that is my choice just like it is everyone else’s choice as well.
After having read or skimmed most of this thread, I do have one question for you all. What if Jesus actually created sweet wine instead of fermented wine?? I don’t think they had the ability to do fermentation back then.
they had wine. its difficult to prevent fermentation, a natural process.…

You “think” you dont need to, the difference is that I “KNOW” you must. No, I don’t think I need to re-examine my interpretation at all. I’m understanding the discussion just fine.
I KNOW you need to calm down. Because you’re taking this all way too personally and reading things into peoples posts that aren’t there. You “think” you dont need to, the difference is that I “KNOW” you must.
it was the reason why they did not put new wine into old wine skins [everyone recognizes that old saying]. the new wine would split the old skins as it fermented. the yeast that ferments wine grows naturally on the skin of the grapes, so as soon as you crush grapes the juice starts to ferment. the yeast changes the sugar to alcohol or some such. What if Jesus actually created sweet wine instead of fermented wine?? I don’t think they had the ability to do fermentation back then.
Mom? Is that you?You “think” you dont need to, the difference is that I “KNOW” you must.
Simmer down, fella. You “think” you dont need to, the difference is that I “KNOW” you must.
excuse me, only i know the true interpretation, since it is my post. and if you want to know the true, true interpretation you’re going to have to get the next round i’m afraid. You “think” you dont need to, the difference is that I “KNOW” you must.
No one saw it the way you saw it.in that case i think u need to re-examine your interpretation, i can not see it that way
Alcohol has been around from at least the Stone Age. Beer jugs have been found dated from 10,000 BC. Fermentation is the only way to make alcohol. After having read or skimmed most of this thread, I do have one question for you all. As with many other processes and good things, yes. :yup:Oh ok, so the yeast is a naturally occurring thing on the fruit itself. I get it. So, yes, God created the grape to do that, knowing full well, it was going to be fermented causing it to become alcoholic in nature. Wow! Pretty clever if I must say. He meant for us to enjoy this process in moderation.
Be careful with those dates, there are some here that will tell you that is not possible since the Earth is only 6,000 years old.Alcohol has been around from at least the Stone Age. Beer jugs have been found dated from 10,000 BC. Fermentation is the only way to make alcohol.
Maybe they’ve had one too many? :takeoff:Be careful with those dates, there are some here that will tell you that is not possible since the Earth is only 6,000 years old.![]()
not quite beer as we know it today, but more so than Bud Light (here we go).Alcohol has been around from at least the Stone Age. Beer jugs have been found dated from 10,000 BC. Fermentation is the only way to make alcohol.
Now come on! I think the earth is older than 6,000 years old. Actually, there is no empirical way to test the earth’s age. Please go ahead and refute this!Be careful with those dates, there are some here that will tell you that is not possible since the Earth is only 6,000 years old.![]()
