Why would they post the above on their web site? I don’t think they want to get a bad review by St. Peter when it is their time to pass on. Perhaps some day they might post the following as a compomise. It makes more sense as it is NOT a fairy tale; it seems to agree with the intent of Chirst, Lateran IV, the church fathers, scripture and the magisterium of the church teachings on our origin.
“Since it has been demonstrated that all living organisms on Earth are genetically related, it is virtually certain that all living organisms have obviously been created AT ONCE by the One and the same Creator by variation in the DNA structure of each life form. [Simul in latin meaning “at once” in English, from Lateran IV, AD 1215]
Fr. Baker of Homiletic and Pastoral Review has an interesting review of the Book, EVOLUTION AND OTHER FAIRY TALES by Dr. Larry Azar of Iona College. Fr. Baker recommended reading this book in his review for its concise understanding of the evolutionary mantra,
The Engine of Atheism. [July 2006 issue, page 72]. Frankly I wouldn’t be caught dead recommending what the “Bureau of Concensus” wrote as you do. Read the late Larry Azar’s book and I suspect you will learn why.

And good luck!
