Why do Catholics always play the victim role when they are exposed? If you study the crusades and the inquisitions, you will quickly learn that it was the RCC for years that oppressed others. Saying the RCC is a victim would be no different that Lucifer claiming he is a victim.
this is the way i interprete this passage… I feel that Jesus was warning us (out of His Great Love for us)… about the things we were going to endure in following Him… I think He is telling us that we must be willing to endure what is undoubtedly the worst consequence of following Him… the feeling (if not the actual reality) of being hated by “all”…All means… “a lot” You emphasize the word ALL…did the early Christians ALL hate each other.

not so. Jesus Christ didn’t found a denomination. I was a devout practicing (all sacrements) Catholic for decades. A cradle Catholic.
