What? Serious?During the 7th century, what civilization of note are we talking about existed in Europe that would have recorded the event in their books?
It was his prayer to God that healed his blindness. I am not sure whether this would be the same prayer for a sighted person to heal him of a different illness.Doesn’t that hadith teach intercession, which is similar to the Catholic/Orthodox belief regarding the Church Triumphant, aka the Saints? For it emphasizes the man turning to God through Mohammad and not directly to God, which seems to contradict much of the Islamic attitude towards saints and divine intercession.

I’ve seen his name posted by our muslim members in the past & on other islamic forums on the net, but I’ve not seen or read his works. When I copied the 5 translations of the Koran, there was no Dr. Moshan ever mentioned as being one of the authorized translations. Is this the new koran they made up for infidels so we start thinking their ideology is different than what it really is?
So much time and money spent trying to convince us while the ones they say misunderstand Islam are just having their way with violence and deception.
I just read today the Saudis, the oil rich Saudis, are now giving the excuse that the Somalis are violent because of poverty. I wonder why they have been leaving Canada and the USA for Jihad if that were true, or where does the Saudi zakat go? (those who fight in the way of Jihad)
Aren’t there some sects of Islam that believe in something very similar to intercession? (Shia, perhaps?) I’ve heard that around here before, but I can never tell if it’s true or if it’s just one sect bashing another.Doesn’t that hadith teach intercession, which is similar to the Catholic/Orthodox belief regarding the Church Triumphant, aka the Saints? From what I understand the Shia do that and not the Sunni muslims, and I don’t know about other muslim sects.Aren’t there some sects of Islam that believe in something very similar to intercession? Yeah, and there was one muslim site that had a download but it wasn’t clear what I was downloading and they wanted my email address. yeah, like I am going to willingly give my email address to them.I’ve seen his name posted by our muslim members in the past & on other islamic forums on the net, but I’ve not seen or read his works.
I just goggled & also yahoo search his name and didn’t get any hit that scream out or identity the person who interpreted the koran.
Of course Jesus is a great prophet. Muhammad took every one into prayers because many people were worshipping the Sun and they considered the eclipse of the sun as a bad Omen.Hamba2han,
You have not answered us why muhammad freaked out at the eclipse.
Afterall, if he could split the moon into halves. Why be afraid of the moon when it blocks the sun???
Hadith Bukhari vol. II, No. 167 The sun eclipsed and the Prophet jumped up, terrified that it might be his Hour [of Judgment].
Let us remember how muhammad scrambled for cover and trembled in his knees at the sign of the eclipse.
Now let us see what Jesus did…
Matthew 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
We see Jesus (Isa) having great faith in His God. On the other hand, muhammad the ‘greatest’ prophet was so afraid that he scrambled for cover. NOW, SEEERiously, tell us who is really the greater prophet?

.
And your answer shows us how delusional and blinded you are by muhammad.Of course Jesus is a great prophet. Muhammad took every one into prayers because many people were worshipping the Sun and they considered the eclipse of the sun as a bad Omen.
Muhammad told them that there was nothing bad in it. To avoid people looking at the Sun and damaging their eyesight, Muhammad took them into prayer and kept them busy in the prayers for some time. He was not afraid of the eclipse of the Sun.
Muhammad considered the eclipse as a sign of his truth. It was a sign prophecied by Jesus for the coming of the son of Man. Jesus had said that “Sun will not give its light.” Muhammad offered special prayers for that event of the eclipse of the Sun to mark the event and have it recorded that it occured during his ministry.
