Migration from cities occurred in the USA becasue of the lack of social welfare programs and the heavy empahsis on robber baron capitalism. This in turn explains why there are so many Americans in jails as compared to Canada.Because there was no mass exodus from the cities. There was such a large difference between the “official” surplus” and the actual deficits recorded by the Federal Reserve in 2002.
A real budget surplus would be fantastic! However, we have not had a “real” budget surplus in almost 50 years. This statement contradicts the “official surplus” that Alan uses in his lecture. “From 1998 through 2000, the Federal government was in surplus—revenues exceeding spending.” The “official surpluses” were $69 billion in 1998, $124 billion in 1999, and $236 billion in 2000. All of these surpluses were bogus! The actual deficits are $418.3 billion in 1998, $520.7 billion in 1999 and $137.6 billion in 2000.

Do you find this hard to believe? Check it out for yourself. You might try calling the Federal Reserve at (202) 452-3482 and request that they mail you their Z1-Flow of Funds Accounts. The above information is in Table F4, on page 11 for 2002.

Socialism is false and evil because it requires the people to focus on self instead of God. Ultimately the Socialist thinking is – replace God with “social programs” that provide “jobs”, “food” and “heath” and then the people who turned away from God will be “happy”. Look how “happy” Europe is with much larger concentrations of non-believers. The Deceiver’s work is done there and it is content to let the people continue it for it. It now focuses on other areas of the world that “need” Deception.

I’ve been to Toronto many times and I beg to differ. There are good and bad neighborhoods just like any other city.Our inner cities are stong and vibrant. So are many other country’s. We have suburbs too after WWII but our inner cities did not decline.
Come to downtown Toronto, see the stores, the shopping malls, the plays, the museums, the hotels, the concerts and sports events. Beautiful beautiful place! ( I used to live there)
