Why do you hate Islam?

As far as I am aware Islam is the only ‘religion’ that threatens those who convert to other religions with death. In the UK there are families in hiding because they have converted to Christianity. The muslims say that they regard Jesus as a prophet but as they seem to ignore every lesson that He taught, we can’t really take them seriously.
Mahomet’s ‘recognition’ of Jesus in this way was merely a ploy to make the conversions of Christians easier in his day. His instructions to murder and enslave are odious and irreligious. We have had Muslim teachers in the UK telling young men that in the future (when the jihad is won) they will be permitted to murder or enslave their ‘Kufr’ neighbours (i.e. us!). Is it any wonder Islam is despised.

It is difficult to treat Islam as anything other than a cancer on the face of the earth, consuming those who subscribe to it, and in many cases those who do not. My wife is an Oncologist, and she knows what to do with cancers. Islam must become a thing of the past only, as it must be eradicated.

I believe you and concur, although, I’m on the other “side” of the pond - but there are UK Catholic members here who had denied or “play” down the “islamic” threat in the UK staying and I’m NOT quoting… that it’s rubbish.

It takes all of about 10 seconds to discover Islam is false, as there are many ways.

Here is one:
Islam was produced from one who claimed public revelation, 500 years after the end of public revelation by the Apostles of Jesus. Islam treats the Son of God as though He were only a prophet, and less of a prophet than Mohammad.

I could go on, but if that doesn’t do it for you, then you’re really not a Catholic.

God only built one Church, and so there’s only one true faith. There are, unfortunately, many false faith systems, and Islam is one of them.

So, how did that work out for you? It created a misunderstanding because you shied away from the truth. I have to say it is never a problem to tell the truth. We should never back down from the truth. We get in more trouble when we do back down from the truth. As a Catholic, we have no reason whatsoever to back down from the truth, or be afraid of the consequences of truth. All other religions do have something to feel uncomfortable about from the truth, as the truth exposes their faith systems as false. As a Catholic, we are to boldly go out and proclaim the fullness of revealed truth. If we don’t, who will? Who else can?

Well, you really need to understand the proper reason behind this, then. It’s just the opposite of what you claim. Not about attacking a person, but about speaking the truth, so that persons may be exposed to it, have it reinforced, come to know it better… it’s strictly the opposite of attacking a person.

Secondly, because errant people attack what is true, does not mean we who by the grace of God have the truth, should shrink from describing what is false. We want these adherents to be released from the false, and come to the true. Don’t you?

I don’t think Catholics are generally intolerant of non-Catholics. Many of them are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and others are people of goodwill whom we are honored to share the Earth with. We would all do well to share the love of Christ through our actions. Indeed, we believe we have the truth, but what use is that if we don’t live it?

Also I would advice you to step into the battle instead of standing there on the side jugding us who do discuss with the Muslims.
I have tried to be charitable to the Muslim people on these threads, and I admit they do tire me with their unwillingness to call evil “evil”.
Like you I have Muslim friends that I love. For the same reason I try to tell Muslims about the errors of Islam and the errors of their prophet so that they turn around and become saved.

Your are disowning your man Hitler. That is bad. Islam is not responsible for the bombing. It does not teach bombing. I have seen Hindus punishing and killing the Christians in India, even burning their churches. Such things have nothing to do with religion. If you want to discuss then come by your book bible and compare it with Quran. You will find that you lack many good things.

I do not like anything that takes the truth away from who Jesus really is, which means when other religions call him a prophet, its blasphemy.
The problem is planten, we are taking the very things it says in your holy book and showing you the truth, yet you think we are making such things up and being hateful, how is taking things from your very own scriptures been hateful? The problem is you claim we dont know what we are talking about etc etc or whatever other outrages claims you make, because we are showing you the truth.
