Abuse is the wrong word. What me and my brothers are doing is called religious criticism (something which is banned in most of the Muslim world when it comes to Islam if you look at the facts).
To say we abuse an ideology or it’s founder who is long dead is absurd.
We critizise Muhammad as we should, since we see that he and his teachings lead people astray. I would also critizise eg. communism and its founder who was paranoid and wrong in his view on the world. If you want to use the word abuse, you can point to the abuse of women that is described in the hadith… actions carried out by your prophet against human beings. If you would condemn these foul acts of his you would have much more respect but as it is you dare not call a spade a spade. I don’t understand why. As for me, I know he will not judge me on the Lords Day, because he is not good and God does not tolerate such impurity. So i dont fear your Muhammad or the isane wrath he instills in his followers.
Jesus is good. So I follow Him. Muhammad was a scary guy. It’s our duty to point that out to our fellow human beings so that they can choose the light over death. If you follow a false prophet how will you be saved? How can you be a peace and freedom loving person and then accept a prophet that spits on the freedom of others? Its unfathomable.
Step out of that system man.

When a young new muslim(Zaki) sides with someone as irrational as your self its again only a proof that his sense of judgement has been impaired.

Also my sense of judgement is not impaired, do you expect me to side with christians against a fellow muslim? now THAT would make my judgement impaired. You may share your views on Paul. of course! Why not? If you first point out where in our revelation scripture you find your point of critizism. Then after you have pointed out what happend in our scriptures, you may say why you think Paul was bad or evil or impure or whatever based on that (just like we say Muhammad is bad because he did it with a 9 year old) . Let’s get it all out in the open. religion is about truth or its about nothing at all. Truth is beauty… Lets talk about Paul and Jesus and Muhammad. Are you ashamed of the acts of Muhammad?
I still want to tell you this. Christinaity teaches us that Paul died out of love for Jesus. He went around tirelessly sharing the Gospel until he was killed. We look up to his perseverence and his perseverance. We do not say he is sinless. We acknowlege that he has flaws, so we imitate only the good things, not everything. With the example of Muhammad its different, because you think he is perfect and worthy of imitation in all things, even the injustices that cry out to heaven in their cruelty. You then have to become dehumanised in order to say he is good in all things… you know all the examples from his life story.
We say Jesus was good in all things. He was perfect … He never killed, he never broke a contrite spirit (unlike Muhammad who said: “dont show compassion”) He was totally pure, He was thouroughly GOOD. .

And YES, ZAKI, YES; I would expect you not to side with a Muslim against a Christian. I would think you would assess people’s arguments. If a Christian attacked you and slandered you unjustly I would side with you and defend you. Look at the arguments, not on the person. You discredit yourself when you side with a Muslim without hesitation. Would you also side with Osama Bin Laden against that poor Jewish journalist whose throat was cut just because he was a Jew?

If I say: Hitler was cruel, he had 6 million jews killed… then saying that I “abuse” Hitler would be absurd. Hitler is dead and the fact is alive.
I give an ethical label to a person who comitted crimes: murder = muderer. Sleeps with 9 year old = phedofile, rapes a jewish woman the same day as he killed her whole family= rapist and murderer… etc. There is no need to abuse Muhammad. He abused his own existence…

The difference is, that Hitler was not the central figure of a religion – that adds a whole other dimension to your appraisal of him. Also, Hitler was a historical figure from just a little over a half-century ago whereas Mohammad was a semi-legendary figure.

(By “semi-legendary” I mean that I think there is reason to believe that Mohammad was a real historical figure, but a lot of the stories surrounding him and what he said and who his friends were are “pious legends” and therefore not reliable.)

**sedonaman, what do you mean about the “verses of the sword.?” Did you see the word sword in the Quran? There is no word sword (saif) in the Quran. But there are surely words swords in the bibleNT. Jesus told his followers to buy swords even at the cost of selling own clothes.

I know you have no genuine reply to that problem unless there is a contradiction in the teachings of Jesus.

Another problem about his teachings as clearly mentioned in the bibleNT is as follows:

He said he was not sent except to the lost sheep of Israel. That means obviously that his mission was only for the lost sheep of Israel. Accordingly he forbade his disciples to preach to any non-Jew. Time and again he told his disciples not to help or teach non-Jews. he did not like to cure any non-jew. that was all according to his mission.

But the christians say that in the end he changed his mind altogether against his previous teachings. That he told his followers to go nd preach bible to every one. That is a major contradiction.

So please do not blame Quran with swords. Sword is not mentioned in Quran.**
