First of all, your mother and sister came out of the same batch of conditioning and your girlfriends are likely similarly conditioned… that’s why they’re your pals. There’s such a thing as the Stockholm Syndrome. Look it up. It means indentifying with one’s oppressor. You’ve never known anything else, so it all looks normal.
What are the reasons? Because Jesus chose men in an era when only men had credibility in his culture?
Because a priest has to image Christ? Then, if we are made in God’s image, woman and men both image Christ unless the Trinitarian doctrine is a false doctrine. You simply can’t have it both ways.
