Oh that way. Yes. We can learn to get attracted to particular stuff. That’s why people warn against watching porn. You learn to like the things you see. It changes you.
The “syereotype” is based on behavior that is a result of being closeted (not having support of long term/committed relationships and, yes, the difference in how men and women socialize sexually. It’s a true stereotype, Bruised.
It’s no biggie if you don’t know, but are there any scientific studies to back this up? I’d be really interested to read them if you could tell me the names? You learn to like the things you see.
With all due respect (and I have a lot of respect for you), I disagree. If you look at societies with lots of acceptance of homosexuality, you do not see significantly lower rates of promiscuity. The “syereotype” is based on behavior that is a result of being closeted…
This is why I did not emote, nor take offense. They are too practiced at “taking offense” and they get all defensive and emotive.
We’ve lost our understanding of the will, the intellect, and the emotions…and so we simply emote all over the place at the drop of a hat.
Perhaps because they think that they might have a perspective that outsiders lack? It’s the case today that homosexuals talk entirely too much about their homosexuality, and many blacks talk and view things entirely from their race
But gay or bisexual men who lack virtue find plenty of other men “up for it”, whereas straight men don’t find women as available. Thus we can explain the difference in promiscuity without claiming that gay or bi men are intrinsically more prone to promiscuity.Men, whether gay, bi, or straight, are driven to spread their seed as often and with as many partners as possible.
This is pure nonsense. They take recourse to “outsider” language precisely because they have not been included in the conversation; they have not been listened to. Same with racial relations. It’s this use of the “outsider” language which proves my point that they’ve come to view reality merely and mainly through their views of their sexuality, not as children of God.
