Ion,I was wondering, if there is a person incapable of fasting or abstaining, is this an ilness of the soul, a psychological problem or a fiziological problem? Can be any of them or all of them?
Does one induce another?
You limit the possibilities…Someone cannot fast or abstain from food I assume…because
They are diabetic and must eat
They are anorectic and have starved themselves
They suffer from Marasmus
They suffer from Kwashiorkor
They suffer from malaborption
They have beliefs that not eating causes them harm
When you ask a question like does one induce the other…
A psychological problem is as real as a physiologic problem because they manifest the same way…the results are the same. A physiologic problem can induce a psychologic problem and a psychologic problem can induce a physiologic problem.
The soul as far as I can see suffers when the body is starved…or there may be those that believe that the soul is strenghtened until the body is starved to the point of danger…
What is it you are driving at.?
