He denies that infallibility of the Church, claims Mary veneration came from appeasement of Eastern Paganism, and compared PJPII to an authoritarian ruler.

But, that said, to actually NOT BELIEVE in the Holy Trinity as real is to break our baptismal/confirmational vow of obedience to the Church in it’s most basic belief (the Trinity) and to exist in a perpetual state of mortal sin until that is reconciled.
If you’re really interested in this question, PLEASE post to a canon lawyer to clarify this.
