Why I am Drifting from Catholicism to Islam

Actually, this would be an excellent question to get an answer from a real canon lawyer. Go for it! 🙂 I checked in newAdvent.org under excommunication but couldn’t find anything definitive.

But, that said, to actually NOT BELIEVE in the Holy Trinity as real is to break our baptismal/confirmational vow of obedience to the Church in it’s most basic belief (the Trinity) and to exist in a perpetual state of mortal sin until that is reconciled.

If you’re really interested in this question, PLEASE post to a canon lawyer to clarify this.

It’s OK to have trouble believing how it is true, but you must believe it IS true to be a Christian.

I have been a late comer to this thread so have missed some of your sharing.

The post i responded to earlier has lots of merrit.

It is better to build n the goodness of God in people than to be hard against any person due to the action of others.

Thats kind of what i see from the vatican 2 thing.

If we build Gods will our energy is well spent.
That does not mean we dont speak against injustice and false hood it is important to do this.
When we do it we should be a shinning example of Gods goodness not tricked by shatan to being like it.

We are here to answer questions. We are here to give short perfunctory responses to that which is presented us.

Do you understand that, or are you under the impression that each posting should be a month-long research project to satisfy the whims of drive-by “doubters” and “probable rascals” such as yourself?

I understand it so long as your answers don’t spread hatred or animosity, don’t profane something people hold sacred, and aren’t aggressive.

If it is any of those things then yes, it ought to be extraordinarily well researched

Your Labour Party run country is the biggest joke out there. They cater and cater to Muslims and what do they get back? NOTHING.

Over 100 Islamic “honor” killings in the U.K.
The govt has stated that there are more terror plots then they can keep up with.
Hundreds of Muslims have attended terror camps WITH THE U.K.
Prison bathrooms being rebuilt to appease Muslims.
Special apartments being build just for Muslims.
St. Georges Parade canceled for fear of offending Muslims.
Now $25 million has been allocated to give “counseling” to terrorists.:rolleyes:
The list goes on an on.
People like you are the reason Muslims are making a joke of the U.K. If nothing changes they will take over and give non-Muslims nothing but misery in return.
Jihadwatch is NOT the only site who reports it. You can even read it on the liberal BBC.

If you didn’t have you head in the sand. You would know that the terror plots are the least of the problem. Political Islam is what is destroying your country. But then again you just might be a Muslim…

Really, did the Church forbid the Crusades? The Christian leaders I mentioned who are speaking out against Islam, have over 50 MILLION followers between them. So you saying the Church forbids speaking out, is just NOT true.

You continue to ignore the issue while others thankfully speak out, in defense of their fellow Christians.

You are the one who needs the schooling.

Apparently, she’s never heard of the plight of Palestinian Christians and Egyptian Copts, not to mention Chaldean Catholics in Iraq (it’s a shame she identifies herself as “Catholic”).

Clearly, she’s a flake.
