Why is Christianity right and Islam wrong?

Such was Jesus, the son of Mary. That is the whole truth, which they still doubt. God forbid that He Himself should beget a son! When He decrees a thing He need only say: ‘Be,’ and it is.
—Qur’an 19:35

If God does not “literally” need to have a wife in order to produce offspring like a son (and Christianity vouches that this is true), then why is the word “beget” even used in Christianity?
Have I not explained that I cannot answer that question? I told you what it does not mean. The topic is whether the quran accurately identifies Christian belief, is the quran true? In the quran’s misrepresentation (for it is clear that Christians have never considered the begottoness of God to mean anything like that which the quran asserts) you have evidence the quran cannot be trusted.

Ignatian,
. This reminds me of the argument: “You know they’re wrong because you cant trust them!”

. In reality, there is a difference apparent in the two texts, even as there are certain differences in the interpretation of the Old and New Testaments, or their meaning, and their various proponents and opponents.

. These interpretations become veils when people become too obsessed over them. Instead of recognizing that there is simply a difference, and acknowledging the difference and moving on, there is this great emotional outburst which dams the river of further understanding.

. It is clear that both the Old and New Testament proclaim a “begotten” Son of God: David, and Jesus. Yet Jews and Christians fight over such simple things and are unable to move on down the river of further understanding each other.

. Then, when the verses of the Quran were given to Muhammad people were again divided over the word “begotten” once again. What a thing to wage war over?!!?

Why does this seem like “Baha’i VI”? Are there any Muslims out there?

The quran promises it is divine revelation by which it cannot be false. If there is falsehood in it, it stands to reason we may dismiss the whole. You however cannot address the quran promoting a false idea as to what it means to call Jesus the only begotten son of God. You bahai are doing the exact same thing you always do, try to get away from the issue and bring it to another in the hopes you can distract from the topic.

As for waging war, it was the muslims who immediately followed muhammad that waged war and conquered historically Christan lands within a hundred years.
