We would probably need to go to Protestant Sunday school, Protestant Bible studies, and Protestant forums as observers to see if that is really the case. I would expect that Protestants have any many questions about their own denominations’ beliefs as Catholics have about Catholic beliefs. However, Protestants aren’t going to question the beliefs of their own denominations on a Catholic forum. They will ask fellow Protestants for answers.
On a related note, do any Protestant denominations have forums or message boards similar to Ask an Apologist on this forum?
That is not how I understand the question of this thread.
There are hundreds, thousands of Protestants sects, and when we meet one such believer on this site, we never know what such a person believes.
We are questioned, we are asked for proofs, we are accused of being naive, yet, such Protestants never seem to offer an explanation of what they believe, and God forbid, some proof of it.
Maybe it is because they have no Church Fathers to call on, no Councils of the Church to search out, no Doctors of the Church to call to witness. They have scripture - so do we - it is our Scripture to keep and to interprete. But we see quotes from scripture which are totally irrelevant to the question or answer posed.
There is no scripture which disproves anything taught by the Roman Catholic Church, so I am alway curious to examine such quotes to see where they contradict Catholic doctrine.
So, we are here, and enjoy, at least I do, my presence here. There is no conspiracy among us, and many times, Catholics call us out on a particular view or statement.
It is a valued experience, and makes us to think and examine our faith.
