the Apostles.
Optatus of Milevis:
“For the good of unity Blessed Peter deserved to be preferred before the rest, and alone received the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, that he might communicate them to the rest.” Optatus of Mileve, The Schism of Donatists, 7:3 (c.A.D. 367).

How many other Church fathers claimed that John was the pillar of the Churches throughout the world? John Chrysostom says here that Peter is the pillar of the Church.
“Peter was to be entrusted with the keys of the church, or, rather, he was entrusted with the keys of heaven, and he was to be entrusted with the multitude of the people…That Peter the head of the apostles, the unshaken foundation, the unbroken rock, the first in the Church, the unconquerable port, the unshaken tower…he who was to be entrusted with the Church, the pillar of the Church, the port of the faith, Peter, the teacher of the whole world…Peter, that column, that bulwark.” (Homily on SS. Peter and Elias)

Yes,Paul was a teacher of the world, but he was not the Head of the apostles. He did not have authority over the whole Church as Peter did.
John Chrysostom:
“He saith to him, ‘Feed My sheep.’ Why does He pass over the others and speak of the sheep to Peter? He was the chosen one of the apostles, the mouth of the disciples, and the head of the choir; for this reason Paul went up to see him rather than the others. And also to show him that he must have confidence now, since his denial had been purged away, He entrusts him with the rule over the brethren; and the fervent love which thou hast shown throughout, and in which thou didst boast, show now; and the life which thou saidst thou wouldst lay down for Me, give for My sheep.” (Hom 88[87] in Joann 1)
“You see his [Paul] humble soul? You see how he sets himself below all saints, not merely below all the apostles? And feeling this towards all, he was aware how great a superiority Peter must enjoy, and he reverences him more than all men, and he esteemed him according to his dignity.” (In illud, 378[368])

John Chrysostom:
“If anyone should say ‘Why then was it James who received the See of Jerusalem?’ I should reply that He made Peter the teacher not of that See but of the world.” (Homily 87[88])

The Church fathers didn’t separate Peter’s confession from Peter himself.
John Chysostom:
“Peter himself the Head or Crown of the Apostles, the First in the Church, the Friend of Christ, who received a revelation, not from man, but from the Father, as the Lord bears witness to him, saying, ‘Blessed art thou, &c.’ This very Peter; - and when I name Peter, I name that unbroken Rock, that firm Foundation, the Great Apostle, First of the disciples” (Homily 3, On Penance)
St. Basil:
"One of these mountains was Peter, upon which rock the Lord promised to build His Church (Comm. in Esai 2,66)
Gregory of Nazianzen:
“Seest thou that of the disciples of Christ, all of whom were exalted and deserving of choice, one is called rock, and is entrusted with the foundations of the church.” Oration 32:18 (A.D. 380)
St. Cyril of Alexandria :
“He suffers him no longer to be called Simon, exercising authority and rule over him already having become His own. By a title suitable to the thing, He changed his name into Peter, from the word ‘petra’ (rock); for on him He was afterwards to found His Church.” (Cyril, T. iv. Comm. in Joan.)
