Qwerk,Thanks Mosacked!
From what I have read of their laws and their texts, I don’t read too much about peace. I gave a presentation and here is my blurb about Islamic peace. Around the world we are witnessing Islamic peace that is filled with a lot of terror, torture and killing but one thing that IS missing is the outrage by those telling us we misunderstand Islam. There is no movement within Islam to change this either. We get fatwas every so often but those do not have any weight because they go against the Koran and Sharia laws.
Muslim scholar Bassam Tibi explains:
At its core, Islam is a religious mission to all humanity. Muslims are religiously obliged to disseminate the Islamic faith throughout the world. ”We have sent you forth to all mankind” (Q. 34:28). If non-Muslims submit to conversion or subjugation, this call (dawa) can be pursued peacefully. If they do not, Muslims are obliged to wage war against them.
In Islam, peace requires that non-Muslims submit to the call of Islam, either by converting or by accepting the status of a religious minority (dhimmi) and paying the imposed poll tax, jizya. **World peace, the final stage of the da’wa, is reached only with the conversion or submission of all mankind to Islam. Muslims believe that expansion through war is not aggression but a fulfillment of the Quranic command to spread Islam as a way to peace. The resort to force to disseminate Islam is not war . Islamic wars are acts of “opening” the world to Islam and expressing Islamic jihad. **Relations between dar al-Islam, the home of peace, and dar al-harb, the world of unbelievers, nevertheless take place in a state of war, according to the Quran and to the authoritative commentaries of Islamic jurists. Unbelievers who stand in the way, creating obstacles for the dawa, are blamed for this state of war, for the dawa can be pursued peacefully if others submit to it. In other words, those who resist Islam cause wars and are responsible for them. Only when Muslim power is weak is temporary truce (hudna) allowed (Islamic jurists differ on the definition of temporary).
They can deny the above, but that means they are denying their Koran and so that means that it isn’t the word of Allah. And then we should ask ‘why do Sharia laws represent the above?’.
No, they are not remembering because it is happening now in our lands. All I got to say is do some research into the Muslim Brotherhood. In Europe, the plotting is outined in docs called ‘The Project’ and here is a link to one of a couple of docs. The Project,Qwerk,
Looking at it, it is an instruction to a people to lie low and keep quiet (truce) when they are outnumbered. Force others to submit when they are in the majority and attack and slaughter those who desist.
To sum it up and put it bluntly the above are instructions on how to INFEST the world.
You see, this is also why islam is always lurking around the corner and no government would take action against them when they are in the minority and waiting for a chance to strike because they would be in their ‘truce’ mode. Once they are in sufficient numbers, you have to get ready for chaos. I believe the world has already learnt this the hard way several times.
Problem is, will they remember???

Qwerk, thanks for the information. No, they are not remembering because it is happening now in our lands. All I got to say is do some research into the Muslim Brotherhood. In Europe, the plotting is outined in docs called ‘The Project’ and here is a link to one of a couple of docs. The Project,
The Project,part2
And in the USA, the FBI’s unclassified doc’s link is here. Terror is not their only strategy.
There are many front groups in our country that were started way back in the 1960s that were spawned from the FBI’s docs such as the Muslim Student Association. Then if you read that doc (the first part is in Arabic and the 2nd part is the English translation) you will see how the religous aspect of it all gets embedded into the political part of it, but also the goal to get other organizations. Just beware - it isn’t that easy to read. Not as hard as the Quran, but it has a tendency to ramble.
**As poster dzheremi wrote:because its a beautiful religions. Islam means peace. its related with the peace of the world.
**Nope. Salaam means peace. Islam means submission. They come from the same triliteral root, but that’s it.
**What does ‘Islam’ mean?
The Arabic word ‘Islam’ simply means ‘submission’, and derives from a word meaning ‘peace’. In a religious context it means complete submission to the will of God.
Who am I to debate a linguistics expert??? No one!!!It is not even correct to say it “derives from a word meaning peace”, though. I can understand why IslamCity would want to represent it as such, but that is not really how Semitic languages work. In Arabic (as in Amharic, Tigrinya, Assyrian, Soqotri, etc.), words are organized around “root” consonants (generally three, hence “triliteral root”) that denote general concepts, not words. The actual meaning of any given word is “filled in” by the surrounding vowels (long or short), as well as any prefixes or suffixes that indicate person, number, agentivity, gender, etc.
Probably the easiest example is a root like K-T-B, which denotes “writing”. From that root we can get derivations such as:
kitaab ‘book’, kutub ‘books’, mekteb ‘office’, mekteba ‘library’, kaatib ‘author/writer’, kutib ‘brochure’, etc.
As you can see, the K-T-B root is visible in all, but it isn’t really appropriate to say that any one form is “derived” from another in the absence of non-polemical evidence (e.g., not from some place called “Islam City”, which I’m guessing is filled with more missionaries than linguists), because that’s not the way that the words relate to each other. “Islam” and “salaam” both come from S-L-M root in the same way that “office” and “writer” both come from the K-T-B root. It’s not at all like how we can say an English word like “unhappy” derives from “happy”, to borrow an example from this Wikipedia page which explains what linguistic derivation is.
There are plenty of examples of words where Arabic does work like that, as with agentive prefix “mu-” (in MSA) that makes a noun out of a verb, e.g. mutarjem ‘translator’ from mu- (agentive) + tarjem ‘translate’ (compare with English ‘runner’ from ‘run’ + -er agentive suffix), but that is not how the triliteral root system of word formation works.
:hug3:Hahaha. And of course I meant “if it stops one more person from claiming ISLAM means ‘peace’, I’ll be happy.” Sorry. My mind is miles and miles away today.![]()
A lot is being said about Islam does not mean “Peace”. Peace is there in Islam. islam means a religion of Peace.Hahaha. And of course I meant “if it stops one more person from claiming ISLAM means ‘peace’, I’ll be happy.” Sorry. My mind is miles and miles away today.![]()
If allah grants you peace, it wouldn’t be instructing you to slaughter infidels and wage wars against the un-believers, or threaten you with death if you dare to depart from it.A lot is being said about Islam does not mean “Peace”. Peace is there in Islam. islam means a religion of Peace.
Salaam is similar word which means Peace. “Salaam un Alaikum” means peace be on all of you. That means peace from the person who is offering that solutation and Peace from God almighty too.
In Quran, Allah has described Jesus as saying “There is peace on me the day I was born, and they day I die and the day I am raised to life again.” Ch. 19 Verse 33.
Islam means submission. But Peace is there in that submission. There is the submission to the will of Allah with peace of mind. It is not a submission with arrogance.
I hope that is enough for our Islam. At least it is not a racial or family religion, named after any place or person, like Christianity after christ.
No. “Religion of peace” would be “din as-salaam” (دين السلام)A lot is being said about Islam does not mean “Peace”. Peace is there in Islam. islam means a religion of Peace.
Okay. Again, they share a triliteral root, but so what?Salaam is similar word which means Peace. “Salaam un Alaikum” means peace be on all of you. That means peace from the person who is offering that solutation and Peace from God almighty too.
Ooo, that’s it! Ya got us there, buddy. Nevermind that “Christian” was originally applied to the followers of Christ by non-believers, not by the followers themselves (and nearly all the literature I have read on this topic says that it was meant as an insult).I hope that is enough for our Islam. You’re not going to get anywhere trying to bring planten and the debate onto an intellectual level.No. “Religion of peace” would be “din as-salaam” (دين السلام)
Please tell me that you, a Muslim, have had more training in Arabic than I have. I would be concerned if it were otherwise, but it is far more likely that you are just lying again just like the last time you tried to say that “Islam” means whatever it is you want it to mean.
Okay. Again, they share a triliteral root, but so what?

Islam is a technical wrd and need not be translated by the help of dictionary. It is a technical word like “Salaat” and “Zakaat”. Peace and submission and religion is included in it. Islam is a deen (way of life). We need not say Deen e Islam because that would be repeating something which is already understood in the meaning of Islam.No. “Religion of peace” would be “din as-salaam” (دين السلام)

I did not want to hurt you by pointing out the name of your religion. Thanks for telling me that Christian was originally given by the enemies or opponents of the followers of Jesus. That may be so.Ooo, that’s it! Ya got us there, buddy. I did not use a dictionary, Planten. I passed Arabic 101.Islam is a technical wrd and need not be translated by the help of dictionary.
Wow. “Salaat” and “Zakaat” are so technical, huh? You probably can’t find such technical words with a five second search for Wiktionary, huh? Oh, wait…It is a technical word like “Salaat” and “Zakaat”. Peace and submission and religion is included in it. Islam is a deen (way of life). We need not say Deen e Islam because that would be repeating something which is already understood in the meaning of Islam.
No harm done. You did not hurt my feelings.I did not want to hurt you by pointing out the name of your religion. Thanks for telling me that Christian was originally given by the enemies or opponents of the followers of Jesus. That may be so.
“Christianity” suits me just fine. I am a Christian, and happy to be so called. What I wrote is what some scholars say it original meant, with backing from various events in the Bible. It is certainly not applied pejoratively today outside of some very specific contexts (by hardline anti-Christ Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Atheists, etc). But then we have to look for another name, the name you gave to your religion. If christianity was the name given by others then what nmae you chose for your religion.??
Be thankful to Islam please. Our religion did not give you that bad name Christian. Islam calls your people Nasaaraa (The halpers of Jesus in the way of Allah). They were the helpers of Jesus for whatever he was doing in the name of his father (God).
From what Christians I know from Iraq and Lebanon have told me, this term can be very negative depending on the context (it isn’t always, but it makes some people uncomfortable due to the history of Islamic usage). I have never heard any Arab Christian use it to define himself or herself (I usually have heard and read “Masihi”, and that is the word I have used when Arabs have asked me about my religion). That name seems to be quite beautiful (Nasaaraa).
“Too much research into the meaning of things”…? What were we talking about, then?Let us leave this name calling or too much research into the actual meaning of things
and believe that the mission of Abraham and his children, Moses and David and Soloman and John the baptist and Jesus and Muhammad was “Peace”. We Muslims believe that the religion which God gave was Islam from the very beginning. That was given to Adam as the first man who reveived words from God.
No, thank you.So every prophet (messenger of God) was a Muslim with their own blend of teachings. Wassalam.
