Go anywhere in the world and Catholicism’s ultimate expression of worship, the Holy Mass and the breaking of the bread or the Eucharist are the same.U.S.A.,Canada,Mexico,South Africa,Australia,Thailand and to infinity and beyond as Buzz Lightyear would say.

The Body of Christ is united under Peter"s successor,Pope Benedict XVI.The Catholic Church circa 33AD.We are obeying Christ’s prayer that “they may all be one”.That’s not Triumphalism, that’s Fact. 👍
Just cause you say so doesn’t make it fact, and I have never seen proof that the RCC is the actual church Christ founded.

Use the search function. We’ve had hundreds if not thousands of threads on this.

The fact that Protestants use the Bible the Catholic Church compiled (Council of Hippo) and recite the Nicene Creed (Council of Nicea) ought to be definitive.

Luther, Calvin, and Zwingli knew what they were splitting from. See my quote below.

I never recited the Nicene Creed when I was a protestant, and the bible I use doesn’t say anything about the RCC being the true church either.

Read very very closely with an open heart and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.Read John 6 especially closely and all those parts where Jesus gives Peter(Rock) the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and where He assigns him responsibilty for the sheep and read about the promises that Christ made to His Church.

Also read the Early Church Fathers and prepare to be converted;)

lol, no thanks.

Converted to what exactly? Why would I want to?

why? do you think it should be in there?

do you think that it should been written like this? the Catholic Church is the True Church, make sure you become a Catholic.

do you think you would believe then? i am sure it would probably cause a lot more fights among people dont you think? they would probably say that the CC added this in the Bible. as they have been saying of other things. you must do some work to find out the Truth. it is not as easy as you think it is. first you must humble yourself for a starter.

I do not seek the “Truth” I just seek information.

because you owe your Creator. to answer to Him when He calls you. i know that is why you are here, because He is calling you.

Romans 1:18
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth."

if you stay here you will get lots of information. information that is Truth. Truth of our Lord given to the Church to be passed on from age to age. from the times of the Apostles through today. from generation to generation. how many generation do you think has been from the times of the Apostles to our days?

i think you will love this one:

When did you stop being a Protestant? Are you no longer Christian? You identify Enlightened in your personal profile under Faith.Care to share?

Also,if you don’t mind me asking, how old are you?

The ECFs may be found here:

newadvent.org/fathers/

Start with Justin Martyr. But beware, “Trail of Blood” hoax fans—you’ll find that Justin, writing in the early 2nd century, is Baptist not at all, Protestant not in the least, and Catholic to the core.

Once again, a Protestant of some stripe insists on specific responses to their community but is dodgy on what community they belong to.

Unlike Catholics.

About a week and a half ago. I like the word, and I have no actual religious belief other then that their is a higher power, and I find it stupid that people want me to identify myself as something that I do not wish to be identified as.

They don’t know, and if they did, I’d be grounded from everything, and most likely they’d make me see a counselor.

I was a hypocrite, and decided better to not be.

Not really, I like the ideal of it, but I prefer boxing. I do wish to learn Tae Kwon Dou someday, maybe even some Ju Jitsu.

Who is your favorite boxer?Mine is Manny Paquiao(if that’s how you spell it)

Why would you come to a Catholic website?I realise that you stated that you are seeking information and I commend you for it.Is there any Specific information that we can provide for you?

Mike Tyson, he isn’t the best, but he is one of the top 5.

I did come here a long time ago under the account name ChristianKnight to learn about Catholocism. I trying to see if the RCC has any facts on why it is the true church.

Further, authentic Christianity as taught in Catholicism is hard. People don’t like things that are hard, that challenge their previous beliefs, or that challenge their behavior. Our sex-filled, materialistic, narcissistic me-first culture can’t abide authentic Christianity, and so Catholicism faces a harder battle than those sects that are more accepting of the culture, that are much less counter-cultural.
Would it be fair to say that you are disagreeing with my claim that Catholicism should have an advantage for being true?

Of course, people are often inclined to prefer easy explanations but usually these bring their own problems. Are there real world consequences (generally speaking) for following false religions or holding false beliefs?

Truth is a matter of opinion?
Of course, where hard facts are lacking people will form opinions about the truth.

But substitue faith for opinion and you have religion, generally speaking.

God exists (or not), as a matter of fact. But we are (mostly) reduced to faith, i.e. opinion, in the matter.
