Conservatives are not normally violent in the street sense, but their cohorts, the nationalists, are ultraviolent in the world sense, which is far worse.

This is conflating history to spin a narrative. It’s just as easy to spin that liberals and socialists are the bedfellow of violent nationalists.

Every single tipping point they’ve had for the past 80 years has been wrong. That will not change.
Thanks for the feedback.

You are partially correct. Tipping points take years to play out and you only know that they have in retrospect. Here is what I said:
I believe the models have been too conservative, that many tipping points have already been passed and that future generations will be paying dearly for our mistakes.
*Emphasis added

Even though we can not know when the tipping points have been reached we do know that the climate models (which have been too conservative******) have been predicting tipping point elements with a fair amount of accuracy.

Here is a partial list.
Code:
   [LIST=1]
*]Widespread Extinctions
*] Increased Flooding
*] Shrinking Arctic Sea Ice
*] Threats to Western Forests
*] Warmer Winters and Stronger Snowstorms
*] Desertification
*] Increased War and Violence
*] Devastating Heat Waves
*] Surge in Wildfires
*] Sea Level Rise
*] Spread of Disease
*] Worsening Air Quality
*] Increased Drought
*] Melting Glaciers
*] Water Shortages
*] Environmental Refugees
*] Coral Bleaching

Climate Science Predictions Prove Too Conservative
The world’s climate change watchdog may be underestimating global warming
Today that is a false equivalency. Most of the “academics” if you dare call it that running the show cannot stand a different opinion on climate change, but that comes with the fragile culture of Western universities.
I won’t quibble with your about equivalency as my main point was about playing victim. If you want to play victim go for it.

=TeenCatholicGuy;14707588]CBO is non-partisan.
Still unreliable.
Even if we assume they aren’t, **what does the Republican Healthcare plan actually do? **
Demonstrate that national government should never be in health care. I feel bad for the GOP here, because the insufferable entitlement mentality of the average voter is why they are even doing this.
You also are assuming I only take in American Mainstream Media, and that i’m sort of robot that believes everything I see online. I take what I see, and form my own opinions. I mean it when I say: Republicans showcase little to no Catholic Values.
:rotfl:

All you’ve done is quote American mainstream biased sources—oh, and mighty wikipedia. So impressive.

Republicans are not that great outside of the TEA PARTY, but the Democrats have fully embraced the culture of death and are one of the most anti-Christian, anti-Catholic parties in the West. Terrible, awful stuff.
Yeah, and those increases are only going to get bigger under the new plan(s). So, how does that help anything?
Maybe. But that’s what you get with entitlement mentality among the populace and the government getting involved picking winners and losers in the free market.
Also, that’s not how Canadian Healthcare works.
It doesn’t really work that much at all for specialized care. That’s why so many Canadians flock to America for health care and pay tens of thousands of CAD to do so even though it’s supposedly “free” up there. :rotfl:
Majority of Americans didn’t vote for Donald Trump, and Majority of Catholics didn’t either.
Doesn’t matter either way. America is a constitutional republic. Many Catholics do not vote their values, which is why the West is on the verge of collapsing. Clinton, however, lost.

As a Canadian, I take extreme offense when you dare say that our healthcare system is failing.
Facts don’t care about your feelings.
I can walk into any Walk-in Clinic and be treated for nothing.
So can I.
And you dare say that our healthcare system is “failing” while Obamacare and Trumpcare are SO terrible, you could say our healthcare was working with Star Wars era tech, and America is still in the Middle Ages. Neither party is properly considering HOW HEALTHCARE WORKS. However, GOP is NOT FIXING HEALTHCARE! How? Premiums will go up for the majority, while they will be reduced for the rich! HOW IS THAT FIXED?
It won’t be fixed until the federal government gets out of the way and allows the free market to work.

Defeating your partisan, linear argument is not me playing the victim. I work in academia and see first hand what goes with those studies that everyone posts via liberal American links.

On the issue of CC, the great and mighty minds in the academic world don’t have the humility to admit they don’t have anything anywhere close to assessing the fluid dynamics of the atmosphere and the interrelationships of weather, and that is also because their grant money allocations depend on dropping “climate change” all of their proposals in order to feel good.

StudentMI;14707575]Um, he has 51 posts. Where has been peddling 'bleeding heart’s stuff nonstop? And no need for ad hominem.
Your accusation was an ad hominem.
And as for Jesus, he was for personal sacrifice. The bad thing for western capitalism is that Jesus and the early Christian community lived in a way that made Kropotkin smile. Ayn Rand was left out in the cold apparently.
This is exactly why I don’t trust liberals or anyone who makes excuses for and defends them.

If you don’t agree with them, this is what they will do to do you.

God Bless conservatism and God Bless America, and God Bless the 45th!

Oh I’m a liberal now? What did I do to you? Attacking Ayn Rand was a personal attack on you? Sorry I said you hand a Randian philosophy but it looked like one to me. And your comments about what’s Christian and what’s not was inherently wrong since the Church teaches different. So what is your personal political philosophy?

Doesn’t matter if you are playing the victim or not it comes across as you are playing a victim. For those who complain about bullying and don’t work in academia are they playing the victim?

You do like to pigeon hole people. Just between us, I think that both parties have passed their sell date, but don’t tell anyone.

Fact: Canada’s Heathcare system isn’t failing.

But the majority of Americans can’t.

Isn’t that what Republicans and Donald Trump campaigned against? Letting the “free globalist market” have control is bad?

Here is the deal with Obama care. I went from paying a minimal amount into a group health care plan with low deductibles, low co-pays and Rx coverage with low co-pays to a plan that costs hundreds of dollars a month, high deductibles, high co-pays and Rx coverage doesn’t start until the high deductible is paid. In one year I am $20,000 out of pocket with premiums, meds, and co-pays. Much less than the $3000 per year before. Additionally the insurance company gets to decide with procedures I can have and what medications I can take. I hear stories like mine all the time, over & over. Obama care stinks.

So let the markets control the cost of insurance. If there was a free market where insurers had to actually compete for customers, we’d have a better system.

That isn’t what Republicans stand for though… At all. Your premiums will rise even higher if this new Healthcare bill passes.

That’s an interesting thing for a liberal to say to a minority.

But your conditional word: playing. People who actually are victims, are, well, just that.
You are spreading a huge net with what sounds like an hominid fallacy.

Here we go again with the copycat language.

There is no ad hominid fallacy.

I’m really sorry to hear about that Horton. It’s also why many supporters of ObamaCare have never paid a bill in their life.

Furthermore, there was a woman on here who lost her health care under ObamaCare and was placed on ObamaCare which gave her inferior care and I think she was paying more. This was a young woman in her early 20s with kids and a husband with some mental problems.

She was told by at least leftist openly she should be thankful------I guess thankful for the government taking away her decent insurance and then giving her an inferior one.

More of that “liberal caring” I hear so much about in the DNC platform and all.

Abortion on demand is murder. And thanks to planned “parenthood” and their supporters, it is mass murder.
Has the worldwide victim count surpassed the aggregate totals of Hitler, Stalin, and Mao yet? Must be getting close.
