The abrahamic ‘god’ is narcissistic
the definition:
A pattern of traits and behaviors which signify infatuation and obsession with one’s self to the exclusion of all others and the egotistic and ruthless pursuit of one’s gratification, dominance and ambition.
I read the bible and this is all I see. Everywhere. Where is the god who calls himself merciful, loving, compassionate? Other than his say so, what evidence is there?
Of course the response is always the same. You are a pathetic, stupid human suck it up - God can do what he wants because its his will and you can’t understand.
as reen said, might is right
to questions and argue is to sin
to accuse? well that’s just downright damnation.
oops I’m damned and going to hell again.
I think reen put it perfectly … “the emperor has no clothes on”.
Out of the mouths of babes comes truth. The learned stand in the parade and cheer the emperor as he displays his fine clothes. They can’t see it yet they cheer him on because of his say-so that he is wearing wonderous clothing. Only the “naughty” and “disobedient” child, who was probably chastised by his parents, spoke up and said blatantly that the emperor is naked.
I can just imagine the learned taking this child by the hand and telling them, “no you don’t understand, you must have faith to see the emperors clothes”
Why is maltheism irrational?
