Why the crucifixion?

What astonishes me is that He willingly went to a horrible death for us out of pure love, then rose from the dead, yet there there are still those who didn’t believe. There are so many who don’t believe.
Also all those who saw Him risen or heard about it at the time who were martyred. They suffered death because they knew the truth from their eyewitness. Why suffer like that for a lie?
How could Mary be sinless?
How could she not be? We can argue over biblical verses. But logically it makes sense for her to be sinless and full of Grace. Would God give his only son to be conceived in a womb of a woman who was anything less than Immaculate?

How could Mary be sinless? She was human like everyone else. As humans we are born into sin since we are descendants of Adam and Eve. If Mary were sinless

The following verses will not be true-

As it is written there is none righteous not even one

Romans 3:10

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 3:23
By this reasoning Christ would not be sinless either.

But Christ is also human, which means that he is an exception. There are more that I don’t think you would disagree with.

Technically God could have chosen another way, but God is love, and as such shows his love for us, (and his justice) by becoming human (taking on our humanity and therefore being able to share our debt (in a collective sense)), and then fulfilling his own justice by paying a debt he didn’t owe, and so demonstrating perfect love, and ensuring that that eternal debt (which in His perfect justice He couldn’t just wave away) was paid.

Well, if all this is true, then no, God could not have technically chosen another way, at least not without ceasing to be perfect Love.

Even if God could have satisfied both His Justice and His Mercy by redeeming us by other means, would it have been as fruitful? Would as many sinners be converted? Would not Christ go to the Cross and Grave to save even one more soul than any other means would have facilitated?
