Why won't non-Catholic Christians recite the Holy Rosary?

That’s your problem. You take a teaching from your church and believe it even if there is no biblical support for it. That intellectual suicide

I am sorry that you presume to know me and presume to know my relationship with God Whom we both love, Brother.

Anyone think it’s NOT okay for non-catholics to do it since they are, well…NON-Catholic? If so, why?

Dear DLC,
I am not going to discuss the Rosary and the Bible, that has been discussed already and you can read the previous threads for that. I am not going to defend the Rosary either. I love praying the Rosary and I love the Graces that God gives me.
I am not attempting to convince you one way or another. I love my relationship with God and I hope you get blessings in your relationship with God as well.
God Bless.
Ron
Ronald, have you come to the place in your spiritual life where you know for sure that when you die that you will be in heaven with God?

You are very welcome. That verse was my pennance at one of my confessions recently. God’s Love is so infinite and beautiful.
God Bless Reteeks21
Yes it is. I really appreciate you mentioning that verse. What better way to d penance than to reflect on God’s love. It’s quite relieving, wouldn’t you agree?

I do not even think about heaven for myself and I cannot wait until I am face to face with God. I think and pray about heaven for others and that they begin to experience God’s Love as I have and continue to every moment. Heaven for me is God’s Love right here on earth.

Biblical support has been given a number of times in this thread. It is intellectual suicide on your own behalf to ignore that. Catholicism has a number of concepts that not everyone is capable of understanding.

How do you know that you will be face to face to with God some day?

Do you see the word Trinity in the Bible yet you believe in the Trinity.

You see the words of the bible yet deny what the bible states:

Confession of Faith in Christ is a necessary part of the New Testament Plan of Salvation. To be saved, we must believe (John 8.24), Repent of our sins (Luke 13.3), Confess our Faith in Christ before men (Romans 10.10), and Be Baptized for the forgiveness of sins. (

Acts 2.38. Mark 16.16.)
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

I do not mean you personally but those not in communion in the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church joyfully Sharing in the fullness of the faith and the Church created by Christ.

How does your faith guarentee you that you see God face to face?
How does you not praying it, Gaurentee you entrance into heaven? It doesnt your just as F’ed as we are.

Praying something or Not praying something means absolutely nothing. Crossing yourself nothing. saying hail Mary, nothing. Saying our father, nothing. What matters is the intent of the heart. Praying does not save, but praying to God and asking the saints to pray for you and using things passed down from tradition and scripture to bring yourself Closer to God, By getting closer to God and seeking his face and following him whole heartedly with out hesitation or paying heed to the cost, will save.

A rosary gets you nothing just like a bible gets you nothing. It is just a string with beads and a crucifix, and a bible is just ink and wood pulp. It is a matter on how it is used and why… I pray the rosary to help me pray for others and to make sure i pray, I suck at doing things Religious habitually. Same with the bible, i read it to know God better.

It is your heart. Do you read and pray to grow closer to God? if so then God is growing closer to you…IF you dont well then God have mercy on you…

How does your faith guarentee you that you see God face to face?
How does YOURS?
There is no guarantee - only a moral assurance of salvation.
Even Paul was not 100% sure of his salvation:

But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.”
(1 Cor 9:25-27)

**"It does not concern me in the least that I be judged by you or any human tribunal; I do not even pass judgment on myself; **
I am not conscious of anything against me, but I do not thereby stand acquitted; the one who judges me is the Lord." (1 Cor. 4:3-4)
