As a Catholic we understand God said His creation was good. Devolution was caused by the fall. From that point on good designs became corrupted.

So are they denying God? Seems like any Christian would accept that God is involved in all aspects of existence. And if they accept evolution, then they accept that God is responsible.

I know you feel that way. But that doesn’t seem to be true unless you’re talking about a rapid doubling or tripling of what was already a tiny market share. As in 0.0004% of scientists support it and now we have 0.008% of scientists - an increase of 20 fold.

Hello!!! they call themselves theistic evolutions and are convinced this flies. They are OK with doing violence to Scripture and the long held teachings.

Yes, God so loved His creation He gave us free will, rather than programming us to love Him. We can choose. (if you have a free will issue take it to another thread, we can also throw quantum influence by humans)

Free will cannot be the answer, otherwise Free will cannot exist in Heaven, unless Heaven’s design is flawed…

Based on Miller’s testimony. Dover is not really worth arguing anyway. We have learned so much since then and ultimately it will be the science that will inform us.
