Gorgias:
Pretty broad brush you’re painting with, there, eh?
Are you an exception? I doubt it.
Have I made any claims about the single social-economic, political, and religious group into which all creationists fall, just ? Don’t think so. So… stop doubting – unless you can prove me wrong. 😉

What is that first beast? Darwin thought bears turned into whales. Modern whales’ penchant for eating vast quantities of honey is apparently linked to their ancient ancestors.

Whales walked on land and then began swimming… Well, now that the ocean is polluted, shall we see them coming back out?

Maybe that’s why they beach themselves…

The reason they beach themselves is because they realize there is a world beyond the ocean. They just haven’t worked out how they are going to survive once they are out of the water.

And yes this is a joke.

I’m surprised he didn’t nominate otters.

Do you mean like seals walk on land and then began swimming, LOL?

This is just a commonsense argument.

If God created species, then apart from animals that have gone extinct, all the animals that exist today should be no different from when they were first created; there should be no new species. So it should be true that the Platypus has always existed for as long as there have been animals. From the moment animals existed they ought to be identical to the animals that live today. The evidence does not bare out that claim.

So while one might not want to take evolution as fact, i think one can think that it is the most likely origin of species when compared to the biblical 7 day creation explanation…

Ecclesiasticus 44:16 (Douay-Rheims)

“Henoch pleased God, and was translated into paradise, that he may give repentance to the nations.”

I’m using the Biblical term.

If the fall did not happen that might be true since the created kinds were archetypical. We now understand the effects of HGT, isolation, and environmental effects on the “species”. Man has decided to classify “species” mostly on visible features, which is very a very limited and illusory view. As genetic research increases the definition will fine tune itself.

Don’t forget “living fossils” We do find living today they are the same. Perhaps the variants are defects that go extinct because they cannot survive long term.
