What a strange thing to say.
When I wrote my post, I had in mind the necessity of the male’s ejaculation that makes it a completed act of intercourse. I should have said that it’s not morally necessary for the woman to climax as it is for her husband. She should climax if she chooses and her husband should assist, but if she doesn’t, it’s still a completed act of intercourse if her husband finishes vaginally.

There’s no biological reason for a woman to laugh, either. Or to be happy. But you won’t find anyone in any thread anywhere on thus forum saying it isn’t “necessary” for a woman to be happy. It’s the same thing though. It’s not biologically “necessary” for a woman to have an orgasm, to laugh, to be happy, or even to love her mate. It’s just nice. And preferable. Clearly.
FF, I do see your point: it’s preferable for a woman to climax, but not a moral or biological necessity to complete intercourse or for conception.

So…how is what you just wrote in contrast to what I wrote in my post?

I’m not saying that, since there is no biological reason…a woman shouldn’t be expected to have an orgasm.

On the contrary…I’m saying that it’s good for her and her spouse for her to achieve one every time she is intimate with her husband.

I still don’t understand why it’s such a strange thing to say there is no biological reason for a woman to have an orgasm.

Some women have difficulty achieving orgasm. Some woman suffer from depression. You can treat depression…you can’t treat an inability to reach orgasm.

It’s just an extremely bizarre thing to go out of one’s way to say, in my opinion. And then adding that it’s desirable only because it promotes bonding with her husband us just dripping with sexism, to my ears. If these are perfectly normal and un-sexist things to you, that’s fine. Neither of our opinions need to be invalidated in this conversation.

My husband and I are both Catholics and have been married over five years. Throughout this time, we have been having sex roughly every other day but I have never been able to orgasm. Until last summer I had been “faking it” abd hoping someday I would “make it”. I finally confronted ny husband about this. We read the book “Holy Sex”, have been seeing a counselor, I’ve seen a doctor, and still no luck. Sex feels like such a chore and I earnestly want to experience this. Has anyone been through this? Recommendations for a sex therapist? In new mexico?
Has anyone noticed that the OP has never returned to her thread?

😦

Looking at the first post it was a Trial membership. Maybe the time ran out or something. 🤷

Still, there was a lot on this thread that I unfortunately related to, so I was rather interested in what people were saying about it. =/ >.>;;
