So why not Hebrew or Greek?
Not true, read Jesse Romero book “Devil in the City of Angels” and he explains how when accompanying Exorcists performing countless exorcisms, they freed people from demons in a fraction of time praying in Latin as compared to English.when I see articles, saying that the devil hates Latin, that just drives me crazy. The devil hates holiness, Doesn’t matter what language you’re holy in
speculation to deny that Latin was on Crucifix and that Crucifix is symbol of devils defeat.speculation
No, they prayed in both Latin and Vernacular. Suggest reading the book. That’s only because the rite of exorcisms hasn’t been translated into the vernacular and it’s what exorcists priests are left with.
Maybe in some utopian world, sure. But this is the real world. However, the devil hates the place the heart is in, not the language
Speculation to deny its a theological reason, yes.Speculation that being the reason why the devil hates Latin.
Amen - to this and everything else you said.when I see articles, saying that the devil hates Latin, that just drives me crazy. The devil hates holiness
what page of the book are you referring to?It wasn’t the official rite of exorcism which is only in Latin
Ok so you haven’t read the book and no that’s false they did use English and Latin in the exorcisms. And praying in Latin freed the person in about 1/2 the time that they were praying in English with no success.I’m going by the facts from exorcists who explain why only latin is used in exorcisms.
