Will Learning Latin Make Me More Catholic?

I doubt that praying in English is the reason it failed
Probably because your post above dubbed “speculation” the two theological facts of
(1) Latin was inscribed on Crucifix
(2) Crucifix is symbol of devil’s defeat

But language isn’t the reason, but what the Crucifix represents

The devil hates the Mass too, but it was established by Jesus speaking Aramaic

Again, it’s not the language the devil hates, but what it is.

Hhhmmm, really? Demons at the OF wait until consecration to leave, but during the EF the leave right away?
Source, please?

I’ve never heard or observed the devil at Mass whether it was the OF or the EF, which I grew up with.

I doubt the devil shows up at Mass at all

just assume that any “Source?” question will have an answer of the book I already cited

So, no, you do not have an actual Church source that confirms what you are saying, only the opinion of an author?
Correct?

Is the book an official publication of the Catholic Church? With official teachings?

The book is the author’s opinion, not the teaching of the Church, right ?

Jesse Romero is not the Church.
His book is his opinion not Church teaching.
Show me an actual Church teaching, from an authentic source that confirms that demons attend Mass in the OF until the Consecration, but not in the EF. . . .

Following Christ more closely is what makes you more Catholic. Latin has absolutely zero to do with it.

No, I am not.
I am asking for an actual source, from the Church, that confirms what you said, and not Jesse Romero’s book. . . .

Your posts aren’t “an actual Church teaching from an authentic source” so per this logic everyone should disregard your posts or all the posts in this thread that take a position on the topic. This is how silly this logic gets.

You made an assertion about the Church and Mass.
I am asking you to give me an official teaching, from the Church, that backs up your claim that is not Jesse Romero’s book.
Can you do that?

You made an assertion about the Church and Mass.
No, you made several assertions, such as that any assertion requires “an official Church teaching”, yet that assertion itself comes from your CAF post which is not “an official Church teaching”. Also if that were true, every assertion in every post in this thread is false

That’s only because the rite of exorcisms hasn’t been translated into the vernacular and it’s what exorcists priests are left with.
I’ve heard Jesse Romero talk a couple of times and the point of the language with an exorcism was they were not having any success with the vernacular so they switched to praying in Latin and they were successful with the exorcism in a very short period of time.

@Aquinas11, w ow, really? You really are going to defend what you wrote by attacking other people’s posts? You can’t seem to provide a credible source for your claims, so you attack.
