Then perhaps you are not yet ready to enter heaven for to wish such a thing means you could not be happy in heaven.
Your position here implies heaven requires for one’s joy to be complete in God
If you cannot be fully happy without them then they must be there.

If you are there and they are not then it means you can be perfectly happy without them.

That is the definition of heaven.
Here you seem to offer a remedy if one’s happiness is not complete in God

No, God is offering the remedy.
Why do you have a problem with that.
That is what heaven is - God supplying us all we need that our joy may be complete.
Why cannot the provision of animals, and even naming them (“moggy you are back”) be part of the Beatific Vision?

The new heaven and the new earth do seem to be essential to it.

But enough, I fear for my sanity arguing over such trivial objections.

I have read NDE’s of people being reunited with their pets , but not recognizing them at first because they were in puppy form…how cool is that ! :hugs:

This is HOLLYWOOD, folks, well known for
it’s dissemination of worldliness to the nth
degree!

Remember anything bad about Hollywood? 😎

No.

Only human nature was assumed at the Incarnation. God became man, and not any other creature. Therefore, only human nature has been redeemed.
So the four horsemen of the apocalypse were riding hobby horses?

I sure hope pets are not just there so we can experience the joy but ultimately the hard pain of loss. Maybe God just might permit.

If you ever want to have a serious discussion about this, let me know.
Feel free…challenging me in a theological discussion without addressing what you wish to take issue with offers nothing to a discusdion you seem to want.

One who asks a question such as this:
So the four horsemen of the apocalypse were riding hobby horses?
Is obviously not engaging in a theological discussion. Therefore, there’s nothing to address.
