Will you see the Da Vinci Code movie if and when it comes out?
Hahaha, yes, this is my sentiment. I wouldn’t be able to resist correcting all the errors out loudI really don’t think I can sit through this movie without squirming uncomfortably or standing up and yelling at the screen!!! Wouldn’t be fair to the other movie-goers, ya know what I mean???
Yeah, I think I do know what ya mean.I really don’t think I can sit through this movie without squirming uncomfortably or standing up and yelling at the screen!!! Wouldn’t be fair to the other movie-goers, ya know what I mean???
Tom Hanks or no Tom Hanks, I didn’t find the book seductive (although the closing scene at Rosslyn was quite beautiful) and don’t expect to find the movie so either. There are two good reasons not to see the movie, though:Like I say at each time I go to Confession –
I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occassion of sin.
This movie is seductive – from the ideas used to make the plot which is so tickling to the mind and sirening of the soul – to the choice of an actor who is so talented and so well-loved as if he is Forest Gump whom he played in a movie – to so many other reasons too numerous to count —
no WAY do I now or nor will I ever to put myself in the near occasion of sin that this movie is.
Satan is laughing at those who already have been sucked into that “novel but claims not to be a novel.”
He’s a liar! And Satan’s lies are so seductive!
I too, will go see the movie and will soon be reading the book.I didn’t take the poll because the options were not objective. I will definitely go see The DaVinci Code because I enjoyed the book immensely. I enjoyed the book as a work of fiction and therefore, not as a book claiming to be based on fact. The storyline is fascinating but it has no impact on my beliefs. I am amazed at the vehemence over this book and frankly, I don’t understand it.
