Hilarious. For 8 years “conservatives” have been complaining about how Obama, Clinton, et al let Russia push them around. Darned if they do, darned if they don’t, but what else is new in the world of partisan politics?
I agree. The national count is simply an accumulation of state counts. If you’ve accepted the electoral votes based on fraud, suppression, ambiguity of marked ballot, and what not, then you should have no problem accepting an accumulation of those counts. Mathematically it is possible to win elections by losing the popular vote by much more than two million.
If the roles were reversed, and Clinton had lost the popular vote by 2 million votes, but had won the electoral college by winning a few important states by very narrow margins, there is absolutely no doubt the Trump supporters would be pushing for recounts. Zero doubt.

A good fighter takes nothing for granted especially when your enemy plays dirty.
Don’t underestimate them. Soros and his cohorts and foreign governments can severely damage the dollar and cause the markets to turmoil. And no one will know what hit them.
There is nothing dirty with asking for a recount. Trump supporters would be screaming for one if roles were reversed.
No I don’t think that’s the case. I think they would push for recounts if there were reports of vote tampering or if the numbers were close, but not just because the popular votes were higher. It doesn’t make sense to get riled up over popular votes since they are comparing apples to oranges (as I showed above). Just my opinion.
Jill Stein didn’t win 1% of the vote. Why would she want a recount and why isn’t it Clinton asking for it then? Something smells about all this.

It’s the timing. They want to not have trump hit 270 so he didn’t win the popular or the electoral votes. He was placed into the presidency by his party (congress) not the people.
I don’t doubt that Stein is in it for the publicity. I know this will be dismissed out of hand, but isn’t just possible Clinton was trying to let it go? I can only imagine what people here would be saying if it had been her that initiated the recount.
Dollars maybe. But not support. As time goes on and trump is not the totality of the monster they portray him as. Moderate Americans will remember this.
It will be interesting to see who agrees to be Electors next election. When death threats are made against you if you don’t do what they want you to do, who needs that headache?
Because it wasn’t Clinton driving this, it was Stein at the behest of Clinton supporters. Believe me my social media feed is full of Clinton supporters donating and urging others to donate to this cause as a last gasp effort to either remove Trump or undermine his presidency as much as possible to limit the damage of the next 4 years.
